He was undoubtedly a top 10 player the last 3 years..clearly, there is something wrong with him, you don't just lose all your talent in a few months..

It looks like he's mentally worn out from basketball, IMO..I don't know if it's personal, or he's tired of playing, in general, or maybe he's hurt, but he clearly isn't the same player..
He isn't even the same player as the first month of this season, where he was dominating..
Lakers look very ordinary without Gasol playing like a top 10 player..

pau been worn out defending dirk at the defensive end. in the head-to-head matchup between the greatest european dual you see who's superior... Dirk still pwns pau head to head, no different than the mavs-grizzlies series 06' in which the grizzlies got swept. Dirk >>>>>>>>> Pau imo, the Lakers will win this series though. winning 4 games = winning the series imo, but the mavs will forget it after winning two imho just like the 06' finals

Gasol has sucked all year, other than the first month of the season, not just this series..

He took a big step back this year. Hard to say what it is. He's had a nagging hammy injury and he is on the wrong side of 30 now. He definitely doesn't look engaged out there nearly as much as he used to be.
Someone suggested off-court problems. He's been playing bball almost year-round for 3 years now, could just be worn out. Could also be he and Kobe are butting heads and he's mentally checked out.
But as for the Lakers looking ordinary when their Top-10 guy plays like a 2nd-round draft pick... is there any team of which that would not be true?

Yep
Kobe was a sidekick as he was with Shaq's lakers. It's not his fault like he said.
Pau was the reason the team was the best last 2 years.
No Gasol = No tittle. That's clear.
