...some of y'all may remember LonghornE.

He posted this in Chris Duel's 550 Underground:

I just got a call from this buddy of mine that works for one of the major auto rental agencies over at S.A. International Airport, and he told me that this A.M., N.B.A. referee, and San Antonio Spurs nemesis, steve javie just checked in to pick up his rental, and that the other two will be checking in either later today, or early tomorrow !!!

Thought y'all would just love that little tidbit.

As long as Bavetta doesn't work more than 1 game, I'll be happy...

Javie is OK with me.

Probobly the second best ref in the league.

Javie, Clark, whoever

So is this another matchup we get to argue? Cool...."can the Spurs overcome the the dominating presence of Javie? Can the Pistons score against Dick Bavetta's smothering full-court calls? Tune in to The Finals on ABC...where legends are handcuffed!"

Is Salvatorre working the finals? He doesn't really favor anyone, he's just randomly stupid and annoying.

Asked if he could play through the officiating, Wallace said, “It’s real damn tough. Y’all had to see that. Y’all had to see that out there. It’s so blatant, I mean, you know, it’s so blatant.” (http://www.newsweek.org/id/8089749/) :smokin

There's only a pool of 12 refs for the Finals, methinks we'll be seeing some familiar faces.

I'm sure you said something. Well, I'm pretty sure anyway... your sig was too distracting to read your post.

Javie is a good ref...he just don't like people getting in his face and will T an emotional player up quickly. :smokin

I have zero problems with Javie as a ref...it's teams with hotheads on them that have problems with Javie. :smokin

Bavetta OTOH is an incompetent fool who needs to retire..

Bavetta just blows call after call....

Salavatore seems to have an anti Spurs bias...but I think the truth is that he just sucks...

No one is worse than Salvatore...

Just keep Nies away from the court. Please.

As long as I see as little (preferably none of) Greg Willard of ol' Salvatore, I'm cool with the rest.

I think we'll see a lot of: Joey Crawford, Jack Nies, Danny Crawford, Javie, to name a couple.
