Uh, uh. None of that crapola. Your people always showed the empty Mav's trophy case since I landed here.

when that happens, no one is safe.

& therein lies the rub, [they] have no focus and haven't for quite a spell. They're mentally tired of fighting tooth & nail. If Dallas would cowtow we'd preen & possibly kickstart, but, the jig is up.

Carlisle took note that we flinched Vs. the Hornets and the Hornets couldn't finish it. He has no intention of following suit. We flinched again.

Don't be fooled by Laker fans. As a lifetime Yankee fan, 27 rings later,
I'm ready to trade the team right now cuz they lost to the Tigers on the
road in May.

Past glory means shit.

even if I was to agree slightly with your shitty rationale what you fail to realize is that we're the current champs...it's not past it's present and until June it shall remain as such...

I guess, but I think you got gifted that last title by Stern, and beating the Magic, the year before? Come on, that's weak.

True that. I wouldn't try to deny. You guys are champions.
But for me there is no Laker glory that compares to beating the Celtics in '85
and the Pistons in '88. That was some serious competition.

I think the real issue is that WE have made it look so easy for so many years…Lets face it, being a WORLD CHAMPION is NOT easy…But I believe that WE will right this ship & advance in the play-offs…Zen man & Kobe will do what they always do, cheat death & find a way to win…

Agreed to an extent. I'm happy about championships from 2009 and 2010. I'm sure 5 years from now, those wont matter.

Listen, we're talking about the Lakers, and Yankees, in my case, two of the
most winning franchises in sports history. Of course, we love
to rest on our laurels, but come on, do not tell me you don't think your
team should win every game. I mean, if I were you I'd be so angry and
disgusted with those fucking assholes and their effort. I don't hate other
teams, I hate my team!
