The man is like 50 y/o and has great numbers this season, considering all things

2011 playoffs:

11 ppg, 7 apg, 4.5 rpg, in 34.4 minutes/game
Almost 40% from the 3 pt line

But the best part has been his decision making and his leadership, virtually flawless.
He has been playing excellent D as well.

When it's all said and done, one of the top 5 PG's in NBA history

He deserves a ring

Make up your mind which team you are supporting. You are worse than a woman with PMS.

So giving props to Kidd = rooting for the Mavs ?

Ok then

Until Kidd rings, he's on the shoe shine stand with Dirk.

Agree.

JK is having a great year and great playoffs, long after many thought he was done.

I remember him saying long ago he wasn't much of a jump shooter (and got no argument) but now nearly 40% on 3Gs?

Riley will never permit Kidd to put up his shoe shine box.

He really is playing great.

He is seriously outplaying Westbrook at the age of 38.

4 steals and 2 turnovers a game against the Thunder - crazy.

had he join the spurs he would be sitting on two or more rings.

let's not forget Kidd was wearing the logo on his uniform when he got beat, which means the Lakers basically beat him twice in 1 series!

....which in turn means, should the mavs win the whole thing, your team in essence, would have won one more for the Lakers via a jerry west adorned jersey.

oh, the irony, I love it...:toast

btw....fixed it for ya

I don't know what Kidd has been taking, but I want some.

Kidd has ALWAYS been FUN to watch. He always plays smart great defense, and just commands the floor like a proper NBA floor should. He dragged that NJN team into the Finals by the skin of this teeth, and had he a better coach who didn't bench their best bigman, might have pushed the 2003 series to 7 games...

I can easily argue him a top 5 PG all time, behind Magic, Stockton, O, and Thomas.

No Toni Braxton to ruin Kidd's second stint with the Mavs.

Great play from Kidd these playoffs. Super PG.

Kidd's D was off the charts during the playoffs. While he cant stay with the fast PG's in the league (tbh no one in the NBA can), Kidd took on Kobe, Wade, Lebron, and Durant. His hands are unbelieveable and his ability to play the angles and anticipate on the defense of end is incredible

His foul on Wade to prevent an easy dunk at the close of Game 4, which might have turned into an and-1 if Jason didn't foul him properly, that ultimately resulted in a missed FT was key in getting the series tied up....he made plays like that throughout this run.

To think, it all culminated for J-Kidd where it started, back in Dallas.

Glad to see JKidd a champion. I never figured it would happen when he decided to stay on that so-so Nets team.
