...is that the Mavericks are down two key rotation players, while the Lakers, like always, are 100% healthy.

I wonder if it's some kind of weird blessing in disguise, or if the slaughter would be even more pronounced if Butler and French Allah were playing? Given the fact the Lakers, Kobe included, can't guard athletic and speedy perimeter players, I think this would be Beaubois's series to shine.

lakers will luck out sooner or later. either dirk or chandler will suffer some kind of freak accident, allowing the lakers to once again luck into the finals.

i dont want to see beaubois play in this series..ive been a big advocate of his all season but it's too late, don't fuck with the rotation and screw up what's working. now if we make it all the way to to finals and get both him and caron back, working them into the rotation is something to consider..

this

i too will admit i was wrong about Beaubois. I think all Mav fans were quick to crown him after his game 6 outburst last year, as some cold blooded superstar in the making who could do anything on the court.

fact is, Barea is playing his ass off and there's no way Roddy should take his minutes. I want to see Butler worked into the rotation though.

Personally I see these faker team losing to all West contenders: Spurs, Memphis, OKC, Dallas.

But Che will give credit, when credit is due. Dallas is taking care of business.

Won't even let them have congratulations on dethroning the defending champs in spite of injuries... cold, 'seppe, cold.

There is not a single team that is 100% healthy at this of the year. As usual, sour grapes from after the 8th seed loss.

Oh wait, that would be half a 8th seed loss for the tail tucker. :toast

Hell no. The line is winning the last game played in June. That's how I was brought up, and that's the way this Board is going to be run.

1 winner

29 losers

The Grizzlies will most probably advance further than the Lakers, they are 1:1 going to Memphis. And it's not the Spurs got swept or something . . .

The clock struck "midnight" on the Spurs in the 1st round. No one is mentioning that in this thread, so I'll do it. :lol

I've mentioned that a couple of times ........ the Lakers are pretty much at 100%

that would only make the Mavs bench that more dominant with putting Marion on the bench and Butler starting.

Lakers have had 2 of the weakest runs in NBA history..this year, they actually have competition..

Dallas is better than any team in the West that the Lakers have played during their 3 year run, same with OKC..Memphis is arguably just as good as last year's Suns or the Nuggets from the year before IMO..

If they make it to the Finals, they'll have to play Miami, the best team in the East since the 08 Celtics..

I'm loving the dismantling of the current Lakers, one of the worst Championship teams in the last 20 years.

Dallas is deep, but I'm not sure they match up too well with Miami. So let's not crown the Mavs just yet.

They haven't won shit. Lets talk about it next week when they have finished the series with a win.

Even next week, if we're no longer around, the Mavs will still not have won shit. Beating us (or vice versa) is but a means to an end/NBA Title. Without the end that means is totally without worth.
