If you head over to nflticketexchange or stubhub you will notice you can buy tickets to be mailed out later. Stubhub guarantees the tickets in case the game doesnt take place cause of the lock out.

Im debating on buying tickets now thinking that the prices might be set lower cause of the chance of the lockout effecting the game.
.
Or waiting till a few weeks before the Texans v Steelers game when prices usually drop a bit due to over saturation, but being only the 4th game of the season im not to sure people will have given up on the Texans season and dropping prices much

any thoughts

Here's what we have done on Stubber, altho this only works if you are willing to possibly not get in. If you have to see the game live, this is not guaranteed. Does your city have a walk in pickup place for Stub Hub? Not buy, because you have to do that online, but pickup. If so, great. Because as it gets closer to gametime, i mean real close like 30 minutes or less and even 15 minutes and especially 1 minute before gametime, some ticket sellers will drop dramatically. I mean like from $200 face for excellent seats to 50 bucks so they can recoup something. Here in SD the distance from Stub pickup office to the Stadium is only like 3 miles so all one misses is maybe 15 minutes which is sometimes only 3-4 minutes gametime.
