Up 8 with 6 to go in a MUST win and the Lakers choke away their season, and the end of the era is upon us. These same Mavs, the only team to lose to an 8 seed as a 1 and lose to a 7 seed as a 2, to choke away a 2-0 finals lead, cannot choke no matter how hard they try against the defending champs.

Lakers up 8 thanks to their bench, then starters come in, Kobe, Pau, Fish, Odom, Bynum and proceed to choke away the game, going -14 in the final 6 minutes.

Not really, Lakers are just in the same boat Spurs are. They're old and teams have figured them out.

Spurs set trends. Lakers just doing what followers do. This year skunked, next year Lakers storm to best in the west and fall to the 8.
