Just heard Magic Johnson say that one of the two would most likely be traded this offseason. Discuss.....

I would trade anyone outside of Manu/Duncan for Odom.

I could see Bynum and Odom being shipped to Orlando for Howard.

Orlando will not trade Howard. There will be no season next year and by the time they sort out a new agreement there will be a franchsie tag that will keep Howard in Orlando for as long as he wants to play in the NBA.

Why? It isn't going to happen.

Bynum for Duncan would be a good trade at this point.

For the Spurs...

Why would we want Bynum's glass knees 33% of the time? Besides, Pop would much rather take Odom for his threes.

Odom is undersized to play center, you know damn well Pop is going to play him at center.

Duncan is the C... has been since 2006 WCSF against Dallas.

Not for sentimental reasons. I would be horrified if the Spurs traded Duncan for LeBron.

Hell no. Let Orlando have them. I would give up hill,Blair, splitter,James Anderson, and rj for Klove, beasly, and tricky Rubio. Minesota would be dumb enough to go with this trade.

I kind of hope that they start sucking now during the regular season. That way there's no more of this pressure of "will they win it?! We only need one piece! If we only had...! Why did we sign...?!" and we can just enjoy the games, whether they win or lose. Then again, the 'chips were more fun than losing. Offseason sucks.

Although I prefer Manu over Parker, Ginobili for Odom would benefit both sides

i would ship blair and hill out in an instant to get bynum or odom. what a dumb question.

Ginobili/Odom doesn't benefit us. You get a guy who's 2 years younger and not as good.

A true fan is someone who wouldn't want to obviously improve the team when it's a no brainer (even though it's hypothetical) :lol Ok.

Not only Hill & Blair but I would throw in RJ and Bonner and offer to drive them to the S.A. airport...for either Bynum or Odumb...

But I would only count on Bynum playing 20-40 games a season...which is still worth it if it means getting rid of Bonner.

Actually...if we could simply give Bonner to the lakers...I would be happy to receive nothing in return...and I would still offer to drive Bonner to the airport....

Who am I kidding....I would fuckin' drive, carry on my back, teleport or find any way to get Bonner to l.a...

I'd give up Bonner for a pack of Marlboro Lights and a ham sandwich. Meh, forget the sandwich, I'll just take the smokes. Meh, forget the smokes, just get Bonner the hell out of San Antonio.

Only spur with good value is Tony Parker
And they need a PG

I would trade TP + filler for Bynum at this point.
Not sure the Lakers would

I'd drive George and DeJuan to the airport myself if it means we're getting Andrew Bynum out of it.

but you are totally right about Tony and I could see the Spurs trade Tony for Odom, which would have a big financial impact and would help the Spurs if they go a new rebuilding route with focus on 2012. Lakers might take some more (Bonner contract?) in such a deal. question is, who do they send back. (maybe Brown and Barnes, but I guess thats not possible considering their contract status.)

Spurs can't win a title with a Odom / Tony trade.
And they don't start to rebuild with Odom.

If you give up Tony, it has to be for Bynum or Gasol. But Lakers won't do it

Indeed. What he did yesterday was bitchmade but honestly, while I don't approve of smacking down the smallest guy on the court, at least we know Bynum isn't afraid to level someone.

I'm with you 100%. Besides, you think the Kardashians would move to SA? I sure don't want 'em here. And Bynum has shown that he will either spend all his time on the DL list or being a spoiled douche. I don't like Barea but damn, he was lucky he didn't get badly injured on that purely immature thug move Bynum pulled last night. Neither player would fit here, I don't care how briefly they might help. Thanks but no thanks. :td

I would, however, gladly assist with the Bonner airport brigade.

most important thing is for the Spurs FO to not be caught again with their pants down.

LA will move in with a strong trade and again if the Spurs don't try matching that it will all be over soon

I don't see LA/SA trading anytime soon. I also don't see the Spurs trading TP, at least not for Odom.

If they move a member of the big 3, they will get young players/cap space.

There is no question LA would do that trade IMO. Spurs wouldn't IMO.

Why? To get either of those guys would be just like a MCDyess signing. Not good defenders and they cannot score. We would be in the same boat next year.
