He won't do much. He's too slow for transition play, and a liability under the rim because he cannot hit a FT. Sad, because he's maybe the most dominant paint scorer of all time (Wilt doesn't ever count in these discussions).

Shaq will be there to hit people. His skill sets have all but vanished but he's still got his big ass to smack people with. Intimidation can be key though.

Rivers ain't using him the right way imo, it seems to me they continued playing hustle ball after shaq being substituted in (late in the 1st quarter), which minimized his influence imho. and its terrible tactic to play Davis together with shaq imho, dat little nig has no business how to play with shaq imho.
