Part 1..quotes from 21_Blessings' 2010-2011 season..will be updated with more quotes in a few days, after a few more Laker fans threads are made, tbh..
Same record as the 2001 Lakers.
:lmao preaseason
:lmao 40 LOL Laker threads
:lmao weren't/won't be saying shit in June.
What's hilarious is the bench is going to be that much better when Bynum comes back.
Christ, is the NBA supremely fucked or what.
Like any West team is going to stop them in the playoffs. Seriously, come on now :lmao
At least the Lakers didn't lose four straight in the playoffs.
Perspective. ;)
Started the season 7-0. Shit on an uppity 27-2 Celtic team for Christmas. Consistently dominated the NBA elite while cruising their way to a 65 win season -- only 65 mainly because they never actually took the lottery fodder seriously.
The 2010/11 Lakers will be 6-0 after tonight. And this team is way more vetted than that 2008-2009 squad on just about every level. Deepest Laker bench since I can remember. Leading the league in rebounds AND scoring despite crushing the living shit out of the NBA playoffs with their defense en route to a :lobt: :lobt: a few months back.
I'm not predicting that the Lakers might win 70+ games and go down as one of the most dominating basketballs teams of all time or anything. Just sayin'.
Also keep in mind that is most likely Phil Jackson's last season. And I don't have to mention the Lakers are still without their starting center..
Hypothetically speaking though. Were the Bulls' win record to be challenged it would happen this year before the CBA arbitration blows up. With how underwhelming Miami has looked the Lakers are really the only team since the early Bling Bling dynasty that has been constructed with that kind of maximum potential.

OKC's athleticism and explosiveness might give the Lakers a scare if their front line wasn't complete shit.
Nothing out West has really changed tho.
Good f'n luck beating that team 4 out 7 when it's do or die. Boston and Miami are the only teams with the tools to do it and it's going to take nearly perfect basketball for that to happen.
Playing perfect basketball for an entire series is pretty unlikely tho. A relatively injury-free Laker team with a healthy Bynum is nigh unbeatable and is the reason the NBA is pretty fucking b:lolned in the event that comes to pass.
Dirk and crew couldn't outscore in Kobe in three quarters. Expect a quick series :lmao
Again, not when Bynum's healthy he won't. Lakers 1st seed in the West pre-Gasol trade with Bynum as the 2nd option. :hat
Unfair, I know. Them's the breaks. :lmao
They're obviously in cruise control mode right now despite missing their starting center. I mean, at some point you just have to call it like it is: too fucking easy.
Hahahahaha. Enjoy the season/three-peat guys. :toast
