So Magic take on the team that got swept out of the 2nd Round (Short of Kobe)?

Why would they do that

Howard's a good guy.

He wants no part of this thugery that goes on that team.

Magic don't want to be another Cleveland. If Howards gonna go they need to get something in return.

Magic have drafted Howard, Shaq & Webber. They have good history

All the Magic are getting out of that trade is brittle Bynum (only gonna play half the games) and 2 headcases in Gasol and Odom. Bynum is also a FA the same time Howard would be

Plus they would have to sit and watch Howard contend for a title with Lakers?

How many titles they win with Shaq and Webber? What did they get in return when they left?

Odom wasn't in the trade proposal.

LA fans want Howard so figure out how that would work for both teams.

Are you kidding me? Howard has done all kinds of bush league cheapshots on players the last couple of years. He'd fit right in with LA.

Won't happen. He'll either stay in Orlando or go to NJ.

^^ as if the Magic will take that risk.

Well if LA got swept in the 2nd Round with that roster how close are the Magic gonna get to winning a title with it?

You tank for a year and draft a Griffin/Rose

And let Howard walk with nothing in return?

YES. This is a new NBA where you need 2 SuperStars to be a Title Contender. What good is Bynum, Gasol, and blah blah

Those are a bunch of role players. They strap you financially and effectively keep you out of the NBA Lottery. Essentially making sure Magic remain a mediocre team

PLUS your fans would hate you for trading him. Instead you put all the hate on Howard and he becomes the new LeBron

Orlando can let D12 go for nothing, or take LA's offer of Bynum. He's young, 23, and probably the best straight up talent swap they could ever get.

Magic would be a laughing stock if they TRADED Howard to LA and it become Shaq Part II. Might as well start calling them the Lakers farm team

Your looking at it wrong

You have cap space AND you are guaranteed atleast a TOP 3 guy out of college for your fans to fall in love with

And Bynum can just walk at the same time, so why does Orlando trade for a lesser player on a rental? Why would Bynum ever agree to the trade? He could certainly kill it by threatening not to sign an extension.
