All 3 are used to be the main guy and play very big minutes every single year the summer with their NT since they were 15 or 16 year old
All 3 were forced by their team to miss the 2010 wolrd championship in Turkey
All 3 started really strong the regular season. Gasol and Ginobili were MVP candidate.
All 3 had their level of play declining all season and in the playoff.
IMO missing the NT for the first time in years had disturbed their rhythm

Do you sometimes respond to a thread about the content or are you always responding on the wording ?
59K posts of "lol we" and others one-liner without giving an opinion in most case. seems like Lefty but in another category of one-liner

Ginobili played heavy minutes, career heavy, for the first 2/3rds of the season, and Tony and Gasol got dumped by their women. End of mystery.

A fiancee, and allegedly the reason for his shitty playoffs.

So, Euro players are emo pussies?
Actually, as fun a theory as that is, I don't buy it. I for one noticed Tony playing great ball after Eva split.

Manu's 30 mpg is not "heavy minutes"
Gasol started to decline mid season (just like Manu). The fiancee issue is not that old.

Anyway, in accordance to the OP, I don't really think that has anything to do with it. Parker played like ass the whole series, that's kind of an aberration and I can't explain that because he should have been torching Mike Conley instead of getting punked out there. As for Ginobili and Gasol, their situations are more easily explained.
Gasol's fiance just dumped him and he's even on record saying "you have to keep off court things off the court" or whatever so you know it really is affecting his play, and if the gossip about Vanessa Bryant being behind it is true, that could also explain his lack of cohesion with Kobe.
As far as Manu goes, the dude didn't play that bad. He had a pretty damn good series for being in a thick ass elbow brace and missing the first game. Say what you will about some of his shooting but he was NOT the reason we lost that series. Without him we'd have gotten destroyed.

Actually he says those stories were inventions or lies.
It's for an spanish webpage, but it seems to be a translation so the original words could be in English and of course he could say otherwise. :rolleyes
"

to you people saying gasol is on a decline you should really stop saying that. the lakers have gone to the finals FOUR SEASONS IN A ROW!!! they are "actually" tired..
i give that to l.a and i bet you anything all they needed was to rest in the summer but lamar and gasol didnt they are idiot's and played after going to the finals 3 years in a row.
they played the summer and ran our of gas during the playoffs . if we can make a move for a so called " declining gasol" lol we should do it now!! cause people are going to snap after he gets rest if he plays this summer hes a dumbass ...i dont like l.a but i did like gasol before he was a laker and i always said he'd be good here and would love to see him here, his parents are doctors not bball players/movie stars i think he would fit in s.a alot better than l.a to tell you the truth

In case of Manu it really helped get to this year's level, without summer break he'd had played a lot worse. You'll see next couple of years.

+1 Would love to see Pau in a spurs uniform. A Duncan/Pau/Splitter frontcourt rotation would be dominant as hell.

We don't win when they play with ther NT and we don't win when they do. We need better D than Bonner/Blair can provide and we need a SF with some size who can defend and who wants to win basketball games.
