Does this prove that there's actually no rigging involved in the NBA, since the big market lakers got swept by the mavs?

I'm sure spurfan has some interesting theories:toast

The refs couldn't overcome a shitty teams effort the whole game.

The Devil's advocate position is that the Lakers are old news. Miami matters.

the script is ready actually for a blockbuster Dwight move to LA. In the wake of the debacle of this LA team, it has now become necessary to bring over a player like DW

with the excuse of blowing out the team somehow the NBA will rig it again and DW will become a lakers player this year.

something weird will happen in the process and we will all be witness of this and won't do anything to stop it. some people in the media will try to confuse fans into believing that everything is ok and nothing fishy actually happened.

it's all been scripted. it has happened before and it will continue happening.

my kingdom for tv ratings!

rigging is only possible when both teams are close tbh. Issue there is mavs are way better than lakers

Games 1 & 3 were rigged, Lakers just got outplayed.

Dallas: 19 freebies
Lakeshow: 26 freebies

Refs did their part... if Stern could block 3 pointers without being too obvious, he would, tbh

One could only imagine what the disparity would have been if the Lakers manage to keep the game close longer than the first quarter.

Maybe, Stern is too concerned with trying to avoid a lockout in the NBA.
