Miami seems to just letting things run, and can go for the kill at any time.

05-11-2011, 06:24 PM
What happnd to O'Neal?

If his back goes Amare's back on the Celtics, that means more Kristic which is NOT a good thing at this point......even against a soft Chris Bosh.

Unnecessary alleyoop by Rondo when he had a clear layup and it made KG work harder than he's already working out there.

Pierce/ Green can do a better job on Lebron than anyone else can do on Wade. If anyone commands doubles or traps is Wade not Lebron.

NewJerSpur
05-11-2011, 06:47 PM
Need to start aggressively trapping Wade again and making sure he doesn't split or turn the corner....he's in closeout mode, LeBron is just out there chucking up jumpers and forcing bad passes.

NewJerSpur

If Pierce is going to come out quiet, it's encouraging to see Ray Ray starting to get the jumper going in the biggest game of the season.....on the road no less. Rondo fell asleep on that backdoor cut to Chalmers.

Out of Kristic and JO, O'Neal has been the more consistent big throughout the series, BUT Krisitc had some good minutes on both ends of the floor (block on Bosh and 4 points in 4:25) in the 1st when Jermaine went out that could do wonders for his confidence moving forward. Doc's got to be thinking of spotting dude some minutes early in the 2nd half on a short leash and seeing if he does anything productive with them.

Have to disagree with Chuck on Z-Bo: People aren't just finding out about him, he's just finally getting his head on straight, staying out of trouble on and off the court and focusing on basketball.

That is the Lebron I want to see.

DPG can clown but all the better teams, (teams that won their series) have reeled the opposing team down the stretch. Grizz, Bulls, Mavs, Thunder, heat have ALL made impressive comebacks this post-season. Even when you think they are out ...they pull back even.

Like I said Wade maybe a "boss" but for heat to win multiple sLebron needs to play like this more often. you add his first half the last game with the way he is closing this one ... wow just wow. I just hope he is getting closer "to that last level" ...it may suck for the Lakers but it would be great to watch ...

Boston is settling for/missing their jumpers. Miami isn't.

That said, the officiating has been pretty bad.

Settling for jumpers always happens following attacking the basket and not getting calls when the other team gets those calls.

Hat's off to Boston. They fought hard, but just didn't have the horses to get it done. MIA is just looking better and better and Wade/Lebron are doing work.

Lebron is making some pretty big leaps, but I still think MIA has another level (at least mentally/intensity wise). It will be interesting to see if the ECF brings it out of them. Needless to say, they have come together at the right time so far and have been the best team in the playoffs besides Dallas.

Still got to keep it moving, just the 2nd round. I expect this from LeBron giving his shortcomings depsite the league handing him opportunities (including not calling him breakdancing at the end of Game 4) but Wade's won it all before, he should know better.

I never thought he wasnt clutch but he did have less "skins" on the wall ...

But i agree with you, not as big of fan of his as you appear to be. but if he ever starts putting up a string of playoff games together like his first half in game 4 and his close out of Game 5 ... the NBA is over for a few years ...

Mavs have to be confident, but just a little bit worried ...

As was mentioned earlier in this thread, LeBron closed out Detroit with a (even I'll admit) classic performance so what he did to Boston was nothing new....we know what happened after that series. To his defenders, he'll have his clutch moments that they feel should vindicate him as a clutch player....to his detractors he still has to have a major part in winning the whole thing (without help from the refs).
