Thanks for the great season guys, and going out fighting the whole way. Time catches up to all of us.

To the Heat fans, celebrate. The little brother rose up and punched the big brother right on the nose. You guys should win the next round easily. I'm looking forward to another Heat/Mavs Finals matchup.

lol Shaq and Perkins

You could tell how desperate Doc was... he actually put Krstic in this game.

Again, rebounding killed us. I'd say we need a young big, but we traded Perkins, Harangody and Erden, and Davis played horribly this postseason.

We'll try again next year, but without some significant changes to the roster/bench, we won't go any further.

At least with Rivers you have hope and an actual strategy that works. Pop... not so much.

Similar to the Spurs, the Celts don't have a go-to player anymore. Pierce with only 12 pts. And, just like the Spurs, where do you go from here?

I'm sure Duncan has an extra shit bag to give 'em.

Bully, bully for Ln for stickin' close.

I prepared for this when we lost in Game 4. I knew that was the sound of a bell tolling, not far enough away.

Still sucks though. :depressed

Heck of a series. One of the closest 5 game series I've seen. In the end though, youth won out. Boston still played well on the defensive end, but they didn't have enough energy to carry that over to the offense.

I won't root for the Heat, but at least they're not the Lakers. :lol

If Pierce isn't on, the Celtics are screwed offensively against great defenses.

dont worry the fishing boat has lot's of room! :lol:lol

One thing the Celts and Lakers have is history. We will BOTH be back. it just may take longer than we would like, but we shall see.

Perk has not been a world-beater and green has had his moments but with Perk maybe no one wrenches Rondo's arm ...and there may be less drives in to teh paint we shall never know ...

Well, on the bright side, you, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Leo DiCaprio can go rob a bank or whatever it is people do in Boston to kill time.

Kendrick Perkins trade was garbage....we're talking about a team
that never lost a playoff series when they were healthy, and they trade away the heart of the defense mid season. Miami had no fear attacking the rim
in this series, that wouldn't of been the case had Perk still been in the green

TIME?? cmon bro, you traded away your C and key part of the teams success and you blame time?? no teams defense will ever look the same without a stopper at the rim.

Oh yeah, that's definitely a part of it. I hated that trade the day it was made; I still hate it now. But you could see that the quickness wasn't there, the endurance, etc etc. KG and Pierce still brought it in a few games, but they couldn't maintain it the whole series. It happens.
