Alderaan was an inside job!

There's a lot going on here that we aren't being told. Has anyone ever actually seen Lord Vader's birth certificate? I bet that could tell us something.

Look at Vader; taking all the credit. Oh well, back to my post.

I can't believe the number of paranoid whackjob truthers that are showing up today.

Look, the sure way to understand this is to follow the money - who benefits from the destruction of Alderaan? No matter what you personally think of Vader or the Emperor, it's certainly not going to benefit them. Destroying a planet and killing billions of tax paying citizens is hardly going to improve the deficit, is it? Vader isn't stupid - it's not in his own best interests to spook the stock market. There are other ways of bringing imperial citizens together that don't involve massive conspiracies.

I dislike politicians as much as anyone but I don't believe for a moment that they would commit such an atrocity against their own people.

And all this talk I'm hearing about this super-secret super-weapon Death Star? I mean, how crazy do you have to be to believe that? Do you have any idea how much energy it would take to blast a planet into dust?

I have to go and meet a dude in the bar about a job. I'll be back later to continue this discussion.

Tarkin is well known for his flubs. It's no secret Alderaan wasn't the biggest supporter of the Emperor and the Imperial Council has been trying for some time to reduce its influence. I'm sure Tarkin was just talking overly robustly.

Anyway, I know this isn't relevant, but can you believe this? I'm just back from meeting this guy in the bar and he tries to shoot at me ...! WTF? I was lucky to get out alive! What's the galaxy coming to?

You should have shot first. We can fix this.

Dang.... the comments are freaking awesome.

Everyone knows that the REAL credit for getting Obi-Wan Kenobi goes to Darth Maul, NOT Darth Vader. Darth Maul is the one who authorized the use of interrogator droids.

Actually, it's the Banking Clan that is truly behind all of this. Their monopoly on the issuance of Imperial Currency and inflation thereof, is nothing more than blatant theft and a redistribution of the Galaxy's wealth to the Empire and its connected interests. They've got quadrillions worth of Galactic Derivatives that are to be paid for with the blood of those who labor under the Empire while puppets like Vader get to sit in their Star Destroyers doing nothing but parasitically living off of the rest of us.

I can imagine some Star Wars version of mouse who would claim that the Death Star doesn't exist or some other crazy conspiracy.

Real or fake?

That boot is awfully dusty for a guy who is on a space station, and hasn't been planet side.

Just sayin'.

I think it was awesome. But then I am old enough to have seen the original in the theater, and Star Wars will always hold that certain sumpthin in my childhood memories.

Didn't bother reading the article, but the comments were great. I'm not even ashamed to admit I understand all that shit, those who do get some good laughs out of it.

I understood it. Good parody. It's like something the Onion would do, but not as crafty imo.
