Rose is the best player in the NBA, tonight just further proves that. Dwayne Wade doesn't even look like an all-star trying to defend DRose and he looks just as bad on the offensive end against him.

Bosh won't keep playing this well either. Bulls are taking this series. They are better and deeper.

I'm sure you said the same about the Lakers. You were wrong then, therefore your opinion is not valid.

JoeTait75
05-15-2011, 09:25 PM
Wade and LeBron won't have three other bad games like this....

Probably not. But Chicago's edge on the offensive glass isn't going away.

And LeBron's history is that of a sub-40 percent shooter against elite defenses in the postseason. Bosh is going to need to keep coming up large.

He's not MVP in terms of best player in the league, but he deserved the award.

Heat have the best 2 player on the series but the Bulls are the better team.

it will take legendary performances by both for the Heat to gain the series.

This WAs impressive, but Bulls were at home they should win game 1. they still need to win Game 2. To maintain control of this series. My guess Lebron will go off like Durant did today.
But my question for his biggest fan/supporters ...wouldnt game 1 of the ECF be a game he SHOULD step up? I am not a kobe fanboi Lebron hater ...I actually would love to see Lebron surpass MJ. But everytime i wait for him to make strides to do so, or he makes a great effort like he did to close out the Celts ...he follows it with a turd (for him) like today ...WTF?

Guess again - I'm talking about the amount of ball stoppages due to whistles, TO's and other exciting stuff.
And there's no comparing the Bulls to Spursball, other than yes, they both played D. The Bulls are chock full of turds and stumbled and fumbled past Philly and Atlanta to get here. They beat the Heat in game 1 and here come the bandwagon fanboys claiming the Bulls invented basketball ffs.

Flukish game 1, Heat will be fine, not worried at all..Wade and Lebron both playing poorly, in the same playoff game, is a rarity..they will both be huge on Wednesday..I predicted a 6-game series, still looks that way to me..if Miami takes game 2, it'll be a backdoor sweep..

Rebounding is the main issue, Chicago will always have the advantage, but the Heat need to play with more energy on the boards..

I also predicted a game 1 loss, as did Ace..pretty obvious outcome..

Not having a healthy Haslem is painful though, he would have laid out Raj Gibson, or whatever that ugly ass dude's name is..

Give you props, if you called this HH, but to say I expected Lebron to come out flat like this, after the way he closed out the Celts ..I am surprised and disappointed.

Maybe, I expect too much from Lebron. I see the physique, hops, speed and ball skills and not only do I expect best player in the game ..I expect MJ type results ...even Kobe in his prime or Mcgrady doesnt have Jame's gifts ...

:lol Thunder Dan finally showing up, after a long hiatus, when Miami finally has a bad game..

Also nice to see D-Rose not going full on chuckmode and the Bulls taking what Miami was giving up (the pass from one big at the foul line to another cutter at the baseline for an easy layup). Controlled offense. When Miami adjusts, it'll be interesting to see what angle the Bulls come from.

Oh boy where do I start

- James should have drove to the lane more often I give you that but other than that how did they play poorly? Wade got swatted everytime he drove. Looks like some people are finally realizing how good defenders Deng & Bogans are

- ''Energy'' isn't the issue on the boards. Going into the series I stated I rather have Noah, Boozer & Gibson than any of the Heat bigs. And while I might have been wrong about Boozer, Asik makes up for that. The Bulls have 4 legit bigs. On top of that like Barkley stated the Heat will have to go even smaller the rest of the series. They were expected to get beaten on the boards and it will be worse than predicted IMO

- So the Heat's hope is for a guy whose been injured the whole season to save them (Haslem)? Not looking good

- Unless LBJ & Wade morph into early 90's MJ....this series is over.

It's just one game man. Take it easy :lol The Bulls really just have to stick to the gameplan. It's been the same way all season. Like I said a few days ago...limit Wade and Lebron from cherrypicking easy layups and dunks on the break, own the boards and everything else will take care of itself.

The Bulls being a young team came out nervous and played like shit early and allowed Wade and Lebron to get their easy buckets but then again they've done that EVERY game against the Heat this season. The Bulls are notorious slow starters.

I could see them losing the next game if they come out the same way they did in Game 1. I could tell they were nervous. Rose was throwing passes to god knows who in the first quarter. The Bulls have a great defense but they can't keep spotting Miami early leads. Eventually Wade or Lebron will go apeshit against them.

One thing Miami has to decide is if they're going to keep sending the double at Rose because they're getting exposed spreading their defense too thin. Once Rose makes that pass out of the trap to Noah or Boozer they're making the extra pass and hitting the offensive boards immediately in case of a miss. With the Heat trapping Rose out on the perimeter they don't have the bodies to box out in the paint (especially if their bigs are involved in the P&R) and its costing them. Miami probably needs to let Rose get his with single coverage and concentrate on the boards.

From what I remember the Heat doubled Rose in the 3 regular season matchups as well. If they haven't changed by now I dont see it happening.

I think they're gonna continue doubling and try to out athlete and shoot the Bulls. Basically they need to drive to the hoop and rack up fouls & foul shots. That is their only hope in this series. By caving inside to help on rebounds it hurts their transition game.

In Miami their secondary players will shoot better and there will be phantom fouls BUT I think Game 2 is a must win for Miami. If you haven't beaten a team in 4 matchups already, you can't think a mentally fragile team like Miami is gonna roll off 4 outta 5.

Everyone expects James to improve but the Bulls have 3 legit defenders to throw at him; Deng, Brewer and Gibson

Wade is the only legit defender on Rose and that hurts them on offense in a 4 quarter game. It's just a TERRIBLE matchup for the Heat. At some point maybe the Bulls are just that good....it's a new team we have no idea what their ceiling is

“We took it on the chin,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said before using words such as “sideways” and “surrendered.”

They didn’t get just beaten by the Bulls, there were demoralized by them. The Heat played like a baseball team that knows it has a bad bullpen, spiritless as the game wears on. Their initial defensive stops weren't rewarded because of an endless stream of offensive rebounds. And it robbed them of all the virtues they got to this point.

Some of this was the general energy and skill of Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer -- a pair of offensive rebounding juggernauts. As those rebounds piled up, the Heat shrunk and shrunk. Chicago gobbled up 19 offensive rebounds in all leading to 31 second-chance points and quite a few unofficial third-chance points.

“We knew it coming in and we still let them do it,” Wade said. “No one is going to beat anyone giving up that. If we give up that every game, we’ll be going home early.” D-Whistle admits to quitting. That's why he is only 2nd team all NBA.:downspin:

Gone was the 1-2 attack that Wade and LeBron James ran to perfection against the Celtics and 76ers, when they averaged 54 points and 48 percent shooting in the first 10 playoff games together. Even as Chris Bosh was attempting to don a cape and come to the rescue with perhaps the greatest playoff game of his career -- 30 points and nine rebounds -- Wade and James did the worst possible thing they could do.

They played afraid (like front running faggots).

Rose winning with this Bulls team would make Lebron look like a joke. He basically has the same roster the Cavs had the last 2 years, comes out and doesn't choke or make excuses. Just wins

might take james 3 years to get by this bulls team it took him that long to get by boston

No surprises here. Lebron choking in the playoffs, no supporting cast, not enough help. another loss.

There's nothing Miami can really do. What are they gonna do, grow taller by
game 2? Miami is a crap shoot, have been all year, not consistent. And Rose didn't
even do anything. Bench is not going to get better and unless they stop with
