No one will like this team until they win a series of championships. Winning cures all (see Kobe). Lebron and Bosh also needs a new PR crew. Just listen to how Wade conducts his interview and compare that to Lebron and/or Bosh and you'll see and hear the difference.

It must be really hard for the Miami 'fanbase' right now or really really easy. Considering a large portion (see: most) of Miami's fanbase were former Bulls fans that jumped ship after Jordan retired. The series becomes a win/win for those nomadic fucks now.

I'll never understand that. Or his jersey being retired there...

The Lakers predate the Bulls successes, shit-for-brains.

Miami barely existed before the Bulls super dynasty. Nobody watched that shit team featuring Rony Seikaly. Their entire fanbase is made up of Bulls fans.

Just because you may not have seen them in Houston or wherever you dwell ...doesnt mean they did not exist. I know Laker fans that date back to West and Baylor ... to say that a few years of losing means they were no longer laker fans is very myopic ...

when I used to cover the Houston region for work, you guys have some very passionate fans ...soem bandwaggoners too ...just like the Lakerfanbase.

And you're right. But when I ask someone why they like the Lakers, and they reply "because their colors are cool", thats just ridiculous

What, you don't think LeBron's high-school buddies are doing a good job for him?
