Imitating Kobe? Kobe is golden in the WCF, even some final games too .. Game 7 however ....

agree with you, kobe would've done much better decision making than rose

LeBron is such a bad closer, right?

NewJerSpur
05-18-2011, 10:17 PM
you mean their game tonight?

Korver's been inconsistent since the 1st round with his jumper and he's a liability on defense.....Boozer can at least be good in the PnR/PnP but if he isn't getting weakside rebounds he's like Korver.

I'm hoping they can show something on the road.....I know the team defense should be there.

Kobe is better than Rose even at this point. Rose is horrible with his shot selection and decision making. But he's also fairly young so its expected.

Rose looked like Russ Westbrook last night ....difference is Heat have no chandler zoning the middle. Impressive defense by the Heat. Especially on teh perimeter but Bosh and Anthony showed hard on Rose.

I like Rose but best Finals matchup left is a rematch of 2005 ...

Dirk vs. Lebron for the ring, LOB and the torch ...

korver is really inconsistent but the way boozer is playing is just not right. he should at leas put 18 and 10 each night, imo

Damn Lebron. I guess Miami's reg season clutch woes have disappeared in the playoffs.

Chicago's problem is Rose is the only player on the team that can create his own shot. Rose will a little fatigued in the 4th from doing all the ball handling and rushed some shots. Korver pulling a Bonner doesn't help either

This shit is going 6

He's got the frame for it, but he's lazy as hell which explains the pushoffs, him yelling out to his teammates to do his job for him, etc. I always felt that D-Will and Sloan made him look really good in Utah.....hell, the mailman wasn't a lock down defender given his size but at least he developed the strip as his athleticism started to go. Boozer is hard to watch.

Is it too much to ask Lebron repeat this effort the next game? If he does it will be 2-1 Heat.

Well Thib concern now will probably be his offence, because the shots Lebron made in the end he can have those any time he wants, if he makes them he's unguardable.

that was not pedestrian. He has what 27 8 5 and like 4 steals?

It's like an old Tim Duncan performance 27 14 5 3. The numbers aren't huge, but it is the combined performance on both offense and defense that makes it colossal!

That's something Dirk fans need to take into account when they go vaulting him up there with the greatest players ever. Doing it on both offense and defense is very hard. Rick Carlisle needs to actually think about that when saying Dirk is a top ten player of all time. Don't get me wrong Dirk is one of the all time greats, but to get anywhere near the top 10 you gotta be very good on both offense and defense.

What a shitty game :lol

What went right:

Other than that stupid stretch in the third quarter when the Bulls let Miami get all of those transition buckets their defense was great. Asik is proving to be a huge presence and it was definitely a turning point when he had to leave the game. That's about the only thing good in this game from the Bulls perspective

What went wrong:

Boozer put on a fuckin clinic on how to miss a layup. Rose did everything in his power to get that dumbass going and he blew easy buckets time and time again. He almost caused me to take a drink tonight. Thibs waited too long to go with Gibson. Rose also missed many chippies that he usually makes. I could tell he was gassed by the end of the 4th.

Other than Asik and Gibson the bench play was horrid. Korver couldn't find his shot. CJ Watson ran the offense so horribly Thibs just decided to keep Rose out there the entire 2nd half.

Miami didn't really make any adjustments from what I saw. They kept the trap on Rose and spread their defense kind of thin again but the Bulls didn't make them pay on the glass tonight and with Boozer blowing so many layups it didn't open up things for Rose to get going. They got great help from Haslem. He was MVP of the 2nd half for that team. I hope it was a fluke :lol

Korver was TERRIBLE on defense. Would you keep riding him for his regular minutes and hope he finds the stroke or give Brewer/Bogues extra minutes?

I may have given Bogans the minutes tonight when it mattered. He's proven to hit big shots in the playoffs this season and he can lockdown on defense when needed. The Heat did a good job tonight of exposing Korver on the switch to match up against Lebron on some plays. Brewer is a very good defender but he's not going to hit that open shot most of the time. Korver will come through though. He had some good looks tonight that wouldn't stay down. That one that spun out was a heartbreaker :lol

Bulls aren't going to win the series without Korver so he's gonna have to get going. Can't bury him on the bench.

He missed a crucial 3 in the middle of the 4th with the game tied and then his 3 rimmed out with the Bulls down 5. Those are the difference between a 2-0 lead and even series
