I know I wasn't the only one in my class that wanted to scream, "Oooooooh yeah!", at graduation while Pomp and Circumstance was playing.

Wikipedia is reporting that he had a heart attack while driving and hit a tree. His wife was in the car with him but survived.

He was such a bad ass to watch. So sad how bad the franchise of wrestling has turned out since the greats have left.

The more time passes the more and more I'm impressed with Mean Gene's ability to keep a straight face while talking to some living cartoon characters.

Not only keep a straight face, but play off of them and keep the interview moving along when he had no idea what they were going to do or say. I loved the Macho Man as a kid, but this interview is so weird, it has to be drug induced.

Like all kids, I was a Hulkamaniac growing up. But I was definitely caught up in the Macho Madness. He was hands down one of my top 3 wrestlers of all time.

As I grew up I appreciated the show more than the hype, and the Macho Man is up there with Shawn Michaels in my book. Now days the show has gone stale (on TV that is. Live it's still an amazing production), and as such, all entertainment value for me is gone, hence why I stopped watching so many years ago.

Arguably the 2nd-most recognizable public figure in wrestling during his era and helped to really put that form of entertainement on the map nationally.....even before I rooted for him, I liked seeing him wrestle just to get a look at Ms. Elizabeth. ;)

I never liked the taste of Slim Jims myself, but for the Macho I'd buy a pack just to put in a blender, liquify them and poor some out for the lost one.

RIP Randy "Macho Man" Savage

Autopsy reveals Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage died of natural causes (http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/post/Autopsy-reveals-Randy-8216-Macho-Man-8217-Sa?urn=top-wp159)

The crash was caused by the death, not the other way around. Heart attack of some sort.
