Hey Guys,
I just bought a HD Camcorder (Canon HF-M301). I want to be able to Import it my hard drive, edit, then eventually transfer it to a DVD disk for playback.
Is that what most people do?
I was able to use the program that came with the camcorder to import the files to my harddrive but it becomes a MTS file and im not sure how to burn that to a disc.
There is also an option to burn directly from the Camcorder to a disc but that wont let me edit the video using the computer.
Lastly, when i used to use a mini-dv camcorder, it was so easy...import, used windows movie maker to edit and then used windows dvd maker to create a menu and burn to dvd.
I thought going digital was gonna be easier, but im stuck.
Any advice would help.
