The bad news is that one of Miami or Dallas will win the title.

The good news is that one of them will lose it.

Why do people keep saying the Bulls pulled an OKC? Were they up 15 with 5 minutes left or something?

Lack of late game execution. The defense kept them in it. Wasnt talking about the choked lead ...

Not imo. Last good finals was 2006, before that. I guess
the Lakers were kind of interesting, but so absurdly stacked, it wasn't.
Spurs were boring, played boring teams. East hasn't been good for 10 yrs.

Why do I want him to fail?

Massive miss on your part ...

I actually want him to challenge MJ for GOAT.

Tired of people getting offended, when people broach the subject of Kareem, Magic or anyone else being in the debate with Mj.

Me saying he needs to ring just deals with my viewpoint that rings matter even in a teamsport, especially basketball where only 10 players are on the court.

We all know the Heat were the true favorites, but to not call out the bulls or Rose for their lack of execution is not fair either. just like last night Mavs and Dirk deserve praise for winning but it's not bashing (at least me) to point out the mistakes that were made ...

Lebron siezed the game just like I said. he stopped facilitating and held the fort down until Wade showed up in OT ...that is what great players do. Lebron did and Rose did not.

I do admit I am biased towards winners ...but once you win I give all the praise that any player is due. But you have to win.

I have said many times Lebron is the ONLY active player with a shot at catching MJ in both titles and "legend" ...Kobe has an outside shot at the former but ALMOST zero shot at the latter. I hope Lebron realizes his full potential ...because he was blessed by God with so many gifts and he has worked on his game, even though his post and jumper look a little "rough" at times.

I just hate that people, (and even himself) try to make him pippen or even Magic ... when he has a chance to be even better than both. And it hurts me to say he can be better than Magic, but it's true, he has the talent, he just needs to win.

DPG21920
05-24-2011, 11:06 PM
Kobe has zero shot. That's what I'm talking about. All of your Lebron "encouragements" are underhanded attempts to compare him to Kobe.

Kobe will never be as good as Jordan because he is not as good as Jordan. There is no chance at that legacy regardless of how many titles he gets.

He's a fringe top 10-15 player (and this is from someone who thinks he is top 10). MJ is not. That isn't changing.

redzero

When you have the hook, the travel/crab dribble/crab shuffle and stiff arm that refs ignore on MOST occasions, that's all you need....:stirpot:

Dude had a crappy close to the 2nd quarter and took a terrible shot late but made some good defensive plays to help negate those and a couple of key baskets once Miami got going. Tip of the cap for this game.

Thibs has to be better as well as Rose, particularly down the stretch if we're going to pull this bad boy out.
