Asians make lousy GMs. They're good with the figures and salary cap, but they're terrible talent evaluators

Guess I'm late to the party. :downspin:

So how many asian GM's have there been, anyway? I would have to assume there must have been at least 15-20 in order to conclude this.

Well if he's the only one, then they're batting .000

I'm surprised you didn't say "oriental" instead of Asian, Wilford.

What did he do wrong? Stole Wallace for two first round picks in a weak draft?

Obviously, he clashed with someone in the Allen Mafia over some decision or other. Allen has two guys in the front office that have the last word. They don't want the GM job, but they have no problem running to PA and whispering in his ear when they don't agree with a decision.

I'd laugh at that, but then M_F/KBP would report me to Kori for laughing at your Yamulka joke.

Well, David Stern. He's trying to keep his league "economically viable". :lol

Lol, im pretty sure kbp ony reads topics with Tiago or Splitter, or both in the title..

..and I agree Mr. Stern has definitely converted to Judaism (sp?)

Converted? I don't believe David is a proselyte Jew. He was born into a Jewish family.

:smokin Yeah. First GM to trade his lower level seat for some new bowling shoes (size 6) and a Columbia 300 ball.

No kidding, that was a major coup right there. Gotta give Cho props for that highway robbery. If anything, makes Michael Jordan look like the total idiot, not Cho.

Wallace is a hot commodity right now, basically a Sean Marion clone (in his prime mind you) but bigger, faster, and stronger and with an offensive arsenal that dwarfs Marions'.

If the blazers can get some decent bench players and stay healthy they will be making some deep playoff runs for years to come.

Rich people are so weird. Cho was apparently blindsided by this, just completing the sale of his house in OKC. That would mean that PA never even talked to him and let him know there might be a communication issue. He would rather just dump him, not based on performance, and pay off his last 3 years. I swear I never thought there would be a worse fan-boy owner than Cuban, but PA is rapidly overtaking him.
