Hopefully we get one more week worth of rest to check it out.

If he is able, yes.

Peja had a terrible time against Durant, imagine against Lebron.

No. Why risk fucking up team chemistry and who knows what Butler could do in game times situations anyway instead of just shooting around....

Mavs got a good thing going right now, why fuck shit up?

As good as Butler may be, I wouldn't change a thing if I were the Mavs right now.

Definitely give him some run. Stevenson is useless, and Caron can come off the bench

That bald old man from the YMCA should not be activated. Brewer and Caron or Roddy need to be active. We need speed and people to play the 2 and 3

if he's healthy, i'd absolutely consider him off the bench in limited minutes. Throwing him back in like Jameer Nelson would be a disaster tho. tbh I know winning is all that matters, but you owe it to Caron to give him at least one shot if he's healthy, considering how hard he's been working to get back.

Let him sit. Remember the Magic bringing Jameer Nelson back in 2009 finals? Whooops....

Stevenson is needed against Wade. No fucking way you play slow Butler over quick Stevenson. Butler was never a SG anyways. Maybe a back SF at most with Peja at PF. Peja's 3's are needed for Dallas. Don't underestimate how important he is to the rotation.

Butler definitely should at least get some garbage or spot minutes or something, especially at home to give the crowd and team an emotional boost. He deserves his chance to get minutes considering how hard he has been rehabbing. No extended minutes though.

+1

Peja didn't shoot all that well against the Thunder, but at the same time, they seemed really focused on not letting him run free, which was good for the rest of the Mavs because it was one less help defender they would have to worry about.

Considering how much guys on Miami like to wander on defense and help out, Peja can really make them pay for it.

They shouldnt play him at all

SVG fucked up when he played Jameer Nelson during the 2009 Finals

I say don't play him at all.

The only way I consider giving him minutes is if the Heat blow out the Mavs in the first two games at Dallas and it's obvious some kind of spark is needed to change things up.

edit: wasn't paying attention and didn't realize Miami finished with the better record

Butler should get some spot minutes mainly for defense.

The difference between this and 09 Orlando is that we need Butler for Defense while Orlando didn't need to rush Nelson back. The matchups just call for it this series

Like somebody said, after Stevenson/Marion it's Peja off the bench to guard Bron and Wade.
