Good for him, Conference championships without a title are worthless.

Yup. Dirk's been there and done that before, on to the Finals.....different from running out after getting spanked and using the notion that because you believe yourself to be a "winner" even after losing (ironic, it really just makes you sound like a sore loser and frontrunner) you should be cleared to excuse yourself from giving a nod to your opponent. Hopefully Westbrook gave the Mavs their due in the back or communicates with them in some way.

My goodness -- people really do look hard for reasons to question Dirk Nowitzki.

Dirk has been damn impressive this playoffs. Not only has he (as he always has) been respectful towards everyone and taken the onus on himself to lead his team, but he's been playing ridiculous ball.

Seriously, how often do you watch a guy take a one-footed fade-away and just expect it to drop? He's been an absolute baller, and I am pulling for him to win it, especially if it's against "The Heatles".

Uh...I'm pretty sure the OP was simply playing off the Terry thread.

The rest of the serious responses are of little surprise, however.
