Lakers stand out because they have had the most opportunities to show class in the face of victory and defeat on the biggest stage, and often have failed to do so. However, many teams are just as bad, they just don't get the opportunity to display it to such a large audience.

Class is overrated in sports the pros especially. The "U", Old school raiders, bad boy Pistons, 85 Bears, UNLV, the Switzer ers sooners, SB Ravens and 90's Cowboys, some of the more decorated winners that have won with little "class".

Dirk didn't do anything wrong or classless. Directly after the game he shook hands with the entire Thunder team (without Westbrick who left immediately, that was classless btw), had the postgame interview with ESPN and then the ceremony where he hoisted the trophy for a few seconds. Doris Burke interviewed Cuban after the ceremony and wanted to interview Dirk then for a second time, but he was just leaving. I don't think that was classless. He did the obligatory stuff (shakehands, postgame interview, ceremony) and left and IMO it was obvious that he just wanted to show that the job isn't done yet. It was like "yeah, it's nice to come out of the west, but in the end you haven't won anything yet."
