Both guys were large when it mattered, I gotta give up to Manu. That finger roll to dunk was the sickest move I have ever seen.

Tim made it possible for Manu to get his game together. Manu was sick in the 4th quarter...but Tim was there the whole game. When they said he had like 15 rebounds at the half time, I was sorta shocked. You never notice half of what Tim does.

But, you sure as hell notice what Manu does :)

argh I definitely have to buy a Manu jersey...

this is IMO a team win

Horry was solid

Mohammed was a stud

Duncan was MVP like

Ginobili was MVP like

Parker was decent

Glenn Robinson defensively was fantastic

Brent Barry, he uh, uh, he fuck it, he stunk as usual.

Beno was bad

Bruce Bowen was a stud defensively

TEAM effort tonight

the studes were though, Duncan and Ginobili, the CO Studs of the game.

What the hell was that??!?

My thinking was, "My God, he's getting all the way to the basket... finger roll, nice... oh Holy SHIT, did he just one-hand a finger roll into a slam?!" That was nasty.

Come on dude, Tim was fucking Tim alright. But Manu made me jump out of my seat and scream like a fucking bitch!!!

Gotta be Manu.

I've obviously never played against him (and, as an untalented couch potato never will), but anyone who does what he does has to drive you nuts.

Manu is more exciting to watch but Tim was the MVP tonight. He got 17 rebounds to go with his points.

Ever.

I have to agree with T Park's analysis...
Big Dog really impressed me on the defensive end... who knew but the spurs staff that the guy could do that?

How can a guy that put a 4th qtr of 15 pts 6-6 FG against the best defense, breaks open the game with back breaking super skilled plays, his team forgets about him, game gets close again, gets the ball back, closes it with 3 straight plays out of this world. ...

how can he not be MVP of the game?

I'd have to say Duncan.
Once again he gets it quietly done and his 17 boards were crucial.

If your only watching the 4th quarter...I can see your dilemma.

Timoha

I'd have to go with Tim as well. He was getting it done throughout the whole game. For a while, it looked like nobody could even buy a basket besides his, But he wouldn't have been able to do without Manu and Manu was amazing in the 4th.

yes im only watching the 4th quarter. nothing else matters until the 4th quarter. as spurs fans we should realize this. manu sure as hell does.

both of them, I give an edge to manu because closing a game the way he did it against one the best defensive squads in the NBA finals is insane.

I sat their during the commercial, rewound and watched that play three times. I still can't figure out how he turned a finger roll into a dunk.

He's a freakin' magician.

I'd go with Tim. Manu was playing out of his mind in the 4th quarter and essentially shut the door on the Pistons but Tim was the one who allowed him to have that opportunity. But this was the definition of a team win. Every single player on the floor was crucial for the win.

Budkin
06-09-2005, 11:45 PM
Manu, no doubt... he really took it to the Pistons and showed them that this was our game and they were not going to win it.

RuffnReadyOzStyle

Has to be Manu.

Terrible in the first quarter, came out and defended like a demon for the next two to get himself back in the groove, then took over with the game on the line and SCHOOLED THOSE BITCHES.

Tim second by a length.

Manu's the one who went and won it for us in the fourth. Give him the game ball.

tough call. duncan was more consistent. but manu really took over the fourth quarter and squashed the piston comeback.

if you can't give it to them both, i'll give the edge to manu.
