Wow. I don't think I saw Tiago smile that much this entire season.

[insert "playing time" joke here]

Hola Fpoonsie, did you change teams? Long time no talked man. I bet it is hard as hell playing basketball in a wheel chair.

Some of the Spurs players on twitter posted pictures of their visit to the Center again:

That was classy for real. I remember doing my internship at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston back in 2006. I remember touring this world class facility and being humbled by Soldiers, Marines, and Sailors with amputated limbs. They were an inspiration because the vast majority were young 20-something year young men (and a few women). Their positive attitudes were infectious as many of them were happy to be alive. I have a healthy respect for these brave men and women. I've seen first hand what these guys go through just to do some of things we all take for granted everyday. Things like walking, brushing our teeth, driving - I mean simple stuff. And their rehab is no joke.

I once met (then) Corporal German when I was there. This dude got 97% of his body burned, and he lived to tell about it. Take a look at this picture and imagine what he went through:

As much as I talk smack about the Spurs, to see them taking time out to brighten the day of some of America's finest was classy. Real talk. :tu
