I think he's worth a little more than the minimum, and I wouldn't be suprised if the Spurs pursued him this off-season.

However, I wouldn't expect him to bring much on the table especially at the stage of his career.

This player doesn't even deserve his own thread.

He couldn't be any worse the RJ but then again most of the NBA isn't.

Why don't we just throw in Tracy McGrady too?

Same shit. Same result.

Both guys who have no heart. And it's further underscored because the two are cousins.

Too bad the Spurs don't have his bird rights. RC, Pop, and plenty of posters here would have a dance party after giving him $40 million the next 4 years like RJ.

When it comes to the Suns' draft situation for Thursday night, it is easier to address what won't happen: - They won't end the night without a draft choice. - They won't trade Vince Carter's contract, opting instead to buy him out for $4 million in the coming days. Arizona Republic

Yes he could. RJ, for all his faults, is essentially a healthy player. Vince has almost never been.

Suns announce they've agreed to modify deadline to make Vince Carter's contract fully guaranteed from June 30 to start of '11-12 free agency

STEIN_LINE_HQ Marc Stein
Suns previously had to waive Carter by June 30 to reduce their 2011-12 obligation to him from $18 million to $4 million. Now have more time

I've always thought VC was overrated, even when he was in his prime.

I've always thought VC was overrated, even when he was in his prime.

Exactly. He nauseated me when he was high flying. The fact that his animated corpse is still collecting an 8 figure NBA contract doesn't make me feel better about him.

Proving us all wrong this series (as bad as it looked back in 2011). If things continue this way today, he's 24 minutes away from being a free agent again.

I totally wanted him instead of Beli (and yes, I know it wasn't really a choice because Carter was a FA). With Beli in the fold, however, he no longer makes any sense.
