Frankly, I don't believe he'll give a shit. He just wants that ring. The MVP is superfluous.

1st&10 debates: Did last nite end Batman-Robin debate? Can LeBron be content winning ring w/o Finals MVP? Is he "shrinking" in 4th qs?

I'll have a whole lot more to say about LeBron's late LeBrick leading to Dirk's last miss, tomorrow at 10E, ESPN2. I'd better get some sleep

Right now DWade is the NBA's best player. This is '06 Finals DWade, taking over, closing. AGAIN: DWade will win LeBron several rings.

So this is LeBron James' team? He's on his way to being better than MJ? JUST STOP IT. LeRobin James just went along for nice quiet ride.

Exactly. The man took his talents to South Beach for times like this.
It's only his white knights who will be upset that he misses out on Finals MVP, as evidenced by their misery last night. :lol
:lmao
The hate is strong with this fellow.

I think this time around LeBron is more concerned about actually winning the title and that alone. What will be more intriguing to watch in upcoming years with Miami likely challenging for more championships is whether LeBron's ego will push him to try to win his own Finals MVP having already won a title (should that happen) and whether it affects the team and their chances to win.

I don't think James has an ego "problem" say in the realm that Kobe has. I think Media would like to paint him with that brush, but, it won't take.

Maybe if he shoots 6-24 and starts wearing mascara he'll improve his chances?
STFU.

Lebron could've stayed on his own crappy team had he put more value in personal accomplishments than winning a title. Lebron carried them here while Wade dealt with little BS injuries and Bosh sucked it up. Now that they are in the finals, they're falling into the rolls everyone expected them to take - Lebron the facilitator, Wade the closer. No shame in that.

Finals MVP's are great but only require 2 weeks of sublime play ...the two MVP's he earned for carrying a good but not HCA caliber roster have more significance ...tbh. But wade is shining right now, no doubt about it. Last series i thought it was crazy for anyone to suggest this is Wade's team or say he is the better "closer" ...but right now it's "Wade's world" ...or "Wade county" and Lebron is a resident, just like the rest of us but we have at least 2 more games for Lebron to change this ...

tbh...6-24 is just one game and Kobe is clearly the alpha player. Kobe also got MVP in the orlando series...was he not the MVP then?
Wade is clearly the alpha player here and if you dont think so, then you must not be watching the Finals.

Did you get HHeats memo?:
Is on pace to join Tim Duncan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Michael Jordan and Larry Bird, as the only players to ever lead a title team in PPG, RPG and APG in the playoffs..
History will be made..
MVP vs Orlando? :lmao

exactly..no shame on that...sacrafice his legacy for rings. He'll be a winner (if he contiunes to get multiple rings)....but without MVP's. He'll never be up there with the greats.

If LeBron keeps up those stats, he will be named the MVP.
This isn't a rigged Laker/Kobe year.

This. LeBron has pretty much done everything that is possible as far as individual awards, all that's missing is a ring now.....
He doesn't need an excuse, winning a ring is enough for haters to suck on. He will get his finals MVP because obviously this is not the last time Miami wins...

I don't think he'll care.... He managed to get onto a stacked team to ensure he gets a ring. It takes 3 elite players and Miami has it. Ok maybe 2 elite, but when Bosh is your 3rd worst starter....

No excuse, it's Wade's team until he starts to really decline.
