Can't wait for a "Wired" segment with Jackson in Ellis' face, sternly but ever-so-thoughtfully reminding him that on the defensive end: "hand down, man down."

Great news, though he'll probably be back in the booth within a couple of years.

Momma there goes that man. No longer in the booth. No more catch phrases. Mark Jackson is all grown up. Drawing up plays like a grown man. Being fired after two mediocre seasons.

Mark Jackson's contract is three years guaranteed, with team option for the fourth. He'll make $6 million-plus, league sources say.
To be clear on Mark Jackson deal, that's $6 million-plus over the three guaranteed years of contract.

Should be hilarious when they play the heat. He's gonna have a tough time hiding that boner whenever Lebron scores a basket plus he should have 5 or 6 spare suits for the ensuing mess.

Mark Jackson coaching lessons:
-Hand down man down
-Mamma there goes that man
-There's a price to pay
-You're better than that
-Not on my watch
-That's a grown man move
-Excuse me, I have an appointment at the rim
-Come get on my poster
-He's a knock down shooter
-GOTCHA!
-He just gets it done
-Get outta my way, it's time to dance
-MY GOODNESS
-Don't take your frustration out on the refs, take it out on the rim!

Well it'll certainly be under consideration. But this is a big time move, by a big time organization. You talk about the Golden State Warriors, you talk about a franchise going in the right direction and it's awfully impressive to see. They're doing an outstanding job of changing culture.
Spursologist, it's "an appointment with the rim". A few others: "that's getting it done" and "I don't see guys talking it personally". He's like one of those toys where you pull a string and they repeat a few phrases over and over.
Breen, Jackson, Van Gundy, had run it's course last season. They were good at first and Jackson's catch phrases are still halfway entertaining, only because of how stupid he sounds saying them. But Van Gundy's incessant nagging, Breen's constant protecting of the league, their clear biases (particularly the constant Bryant ass kissing) and just the overall predictability of them has grown tiresome.

Yeah, he's good. Unfortunately, he was named Rockets coach last week.
Whether he wants to do it or not, either ESPN/ABC or TNT needs to make Walton an offer he can't refuse and lure him back to national TV. The best tandem ever was Albert/Walton. But anyone and Walton is good.
Forgot about that one, lefty. Another one: "The operation was a success, but the patient died".
Spursologist, they're overly biased, though. They all kiss Bryant's ass and have since the '08 Finals, when he told them he watched a game back and heard whatever critical thing they said about him. From then on, it was constant ass kissing, especially from Jackson.
They do have good chemistry, because they've all been friends for a long time. But they became too predictable. Their act wore thin for me last season.

Almost all commentators have biases. Jackson and Van Gundy have great chemistry. I love the side stories and especially how Van Gundy challenges the league's postions. Breen just acts as a buffer. They're entertaining. I look for that first and info second. I'd start watching the WNBA if they called their games tbh

Yeah, he was good with Snapper, because they clearly didn't like each other. But they pretended they were just joking.
dirk4mvp, classic clip. In a mere 52 seconds, he managed 7 funny comments . . .
- The stressing of the word vision for no apparent reason
- Saying "to somehow acquire Diaw" (as if he's an all time great)
- Claiming Diaw's "changed everything" (again, as if he's an all time great)
- Claiming to celebrate Diaw's "brilliance"
- Calling Diaw a "classical human being"
- The nonsense about Beethoven and how when he looks at Diaw, he thinks of the "age of the romantics"
- Finally, claiming Diaw's "got it all"
Pure comedy gold.

I really can't stand Walton, but at least someone was smart enough to pair him with dudes (Jones and Tolbert) who would constantly point out what a grade A weirdass he is.
Also, he doesn't wash his hands after using the toilet. I seent it.
