Remembering the huge banners on SBC in 03, I actually made a special detour Game1 afternoon to get some "atmosphere" pics for the out-of-towners here, but the banners didn't appear as impressive as 03, and I couldn't get close enough anyway, too late in the afternoon.

Yes I am on the left. And yes I have balcony seats but row 1. I guess Row 1 makes it a little better...haha.

Who said cameras weren't allowed? I've always taken a camera in to the SBC Center w/out having to sneak it in. lol but...the majority of those photos were taken with binoculars that take pictures...we bought it for games and such. They're not great but the zoom is better than my digi cam. The digicam is only a 3x optical zoom. The outside pictures and a few inside pictures were taken w/my digital. You can tell too because the quality is different...and better.

This was my first time at the Finals so I don't remember the banners from back in 2003. We had season tix last year too but we remember what happened during the playoffs...blech. lol So FINALLY I get to come to my first finals game...and the banners are a nice touch.

lol...I am a photographer. I photograph the little kiddoes at preschools and day cares. Photography has always been something I've wanted to do. My dad is a photographer (he takes pics at weddings and such) but he doesn't do it as much as he used to. Maybe one day I'll have my own studio...the babies are killing me! lol

But seriously we -non US - fans have a much more difficult time to picture an NBA game. The main info is now readily available on the net, but stuff like what goes on at the arena before/after the game, the decoration or off the court action are really difficult to imagine.

That's why your pictures are very much appreciated - hey it's the next best thing to actually being there. :tu
