Most of the attention seems to be going to either Dirk and the Mavs (rightfully so) or Lebron James's poor play, but how about that Wade performance?

Yes, he missed a FT and there was that clusterfuck of a final play, but this guy put in another jaw-dropping performance. His shotclock-beating jumpers, insane blocks, rebounding, and breathtaking drives and dunks were the stuff of legend. He was a human-highlight reel for the 3rd game in a row (his Game 1 double-double was not too shabby either).

This is a great Finals, and all the Dirk-Wade moments are like flashbacks of 2006. If the next 3 games can be like the last 3, this will go down as the best Finals ever, imho.

best finals ever?!? Did you know there was a Finals in 1988 and 1984? All the
Mavs need do, is get Haywood out there for one play, since it's clear he's fucked
for the rest of the series, and just level Wade once. Then keep mixing it up with
hard fouls from Cardinal and that other African dude. Problem is they just let him score
for some reason, and forget he's on the court. I don't know what the fuck it is with
wade and the Mavs but if they had stopped him just a little they would've won by 10
points.

Seems like everyone has talked about how Wade has been the best player on the Heat. Those plays at the end of the game were unfortunate though and cost them the game.

Were we watching the same game? Wade fucked up the most crucial play of the game and nearly missed both free throws prior to that (he missed 1 of 2).

Wade is the main reason the Heat are 2-2 and have not been swept by the mavs. the series is tied, he is the best player. everything is fine with Wade. Unless he chokes again.

Wade's been the best player on the court in these Finals, and he's getting his due. I don't think it's lost in the shuffle at all. I think most people realize and acknowledge it because in some ways it's surprising how much better he's played than LeBron, when this was the stage LeBron was supposed to finally prove he could lead a team to a championship with enough help. Instead, LeBron has been reduced to a defensive specialist and role player. Talent wise, LeBron is still the best player in the league. But as many have already said and as we have seen, Wade is the one who is leading his team with his play. I'm surprised to a degree. Wade has been terrific.

don't forget the 3 great blocks Wade had at the end of this game
