REAL TALK

sons on the real has Kobe ever only scored a pathetic 8 points in a crucial finals game? hell even when he was Shaq's role player and as of late as Gasol's co-leader I can't ever remember him putting up that low of points in a game. I mean shit ... at least the dude would never quit on his team. I will give him that. anyone know?

Well, Lebron isnt a ballhog like Kobe, to begin with

Plus, the Heat' strategy is to defer to Wade, because he is very comfy vs Dallas.

Seriously, BR, where were you when Lebron was raping Chicago?

lol like raping a one man team like Chicago is something to be proud of. this is the finals son and LeBron is supposed to be the chosen one. we need more than 8 points in a game for that to be legit.

It's a matchup thing BR

As I said, Wade is great vs Dallas

Bosh too, I've watched some Raptors-Mavs games, and he was very good against Dallas

Against Chcago, they have identified LeBron as the Bulls killer, so they went with him; during this series, people were like " LBJ >>>> Wade zomg "

Of course, Chicago is not Dallas, but I'm just saying it's a matchup thing and you adjust accordingly

yup Kobe has never quit on his team...

oh wait, Lakers vs. Suns round 1 of the 2006 playoffs. Lakers take a 3-1 lead and somehow lose game 7 with Kobe taking only 3 shots in the 2nd half.

:lmao

ok then son how about we start educating you on the facts that your hero, the one and only Timmy D has quit on his team time and time again. should we go there? because every good game he has ever played, he has also quit on his team numerous times. lol a 33 year old "supposed greatest of all time" putting up 13 and 8! absolutely pathetic.

I'll allow it, as long as the ring count stands at

Duncan: 4

Every sports team in NO: 1

no son, Duncan has 2 rings. you can only claim titles for a PLAYER whenever they were the leading man.

San Antonio - 3 Legit NBA titles - 1 Exhibition/Tournament Style win (1999)

Duncan - 2 Legit NBA titles

be proud son

And you owe Brett Favre a big "thanks" for it, too. Just be proud of your Saints(lol Seahawks), K? :)

Kobe had 11, but I think that LeBron's PER was higher than Kobe's in that game.

The * argument died forever in '03, when Phil's Lakers got humiliated and Pop/Duncan went to win the second title. It was clear that the Spurs were to win the title in 99 even if it wasn't shortened. Besides, that run was one of the most dominant ever.

Lefty is right, the match up doesnt favor Lebron James...Jason Kidd's lock down defense is amazing and there is no strategy that can change that.

on a night when rip hamilton had 31 (and twice the rebounds kobe did), good thing you had that all nba D at the SG spot though, he might have gone for 60

kobe also had a 2pt game and an 8 pt game vs indy, though to be fair he was just a kid being carried by daddy back then

You pick a game where Kobe injured his ankle and left in the second quarter? :lol

Same series in game 4, at age 21, Bryant scored 22 points in the second half, and led the team to an overtime victory as O'Neal fouled out of the game.

he left in the second quarter, but still managed to play 37 minutes and take 20 shots, must have been a bad injury

yeah, the same series where shaq won finals mvp and averaged 38 pts on 61% while kobe had 15.6 on 36%, but it was kobe who led them to victory :lol

John Starks or Kenyon martin have the worst performances I can remember in the finals (Starks was 1 for what? Kenyon was 3-23 or some shit :lmao). Kobe is horrible though.

As to your first comment, we are talking about different games.

In game 4 he did lead them to victory. Which is what I said. He averaged 15 pts because he had a 2 pt game where he left the game early with an injury which skews the average. No one is putting Shaq down for what he did. But at the same time it was Kobe, not Shaq was the MVP of game 7 against the Blazers in the West Finals the same year, which was the real NBA finals with the two best teams that year. Blazers > Pacers. Yes, like it or not, Kobe was his team's MVP in game 7 against their toughest opponent that year and he was only 21.
