Lose two of three to the Cardinals, the one win a pull it out of his ass performance by David Wells.

Now today, they are getting this shit kicked out of them by a mediocre Chicago Cubs team.

Absolutely pathetic. Baltimore just might win that divison.

It would be nice, would be a great alternative to the stupid ass Yankee Red Sox ALCS.

BTW lump the Yankees in too.

Their defense is pathetic, Wang, never seen him before, but he leaves alot of balls up in the zone.

Giambi is a fuckin joke.

The intensifying of that 'stupid ass' Yankees/Red Sox rivalry is the best thing that's happened to baseball in years. That rivalry is driving a whole lot of the interest in baseball.

The sport (including the Cards) will be better off if the Red Sox and Yankees meet in the ALCS.

Cubs are playing well considering the injuries they've sustatined this year. The Red Sox will be in the hunt come October. I really don't see the Yankees making the post-season this year. The Yankees have resorted back to their ways pre-1995, picking up high priced vets in hopes of a rapid return. They should've just kept bringing up players from their farm system.

Baltimore will probably hang in there until August, the fade off. But they're still in it, I think Angelos will open his checkbook and lure some hired guns to come in and win the division. Clements would be a good fit there, instead of going back to the Yankess. He's better off staying in Houston, but you never know...he might just end up back with the Red Sox and help them repeat.

I'm not worried about the Cards though. They did all this last year and where did it get them? Swept in the World Series.

something the Cubs havent seen in....

The reason this team is different, is the starting pitching is better.

Mark Mulder >>>>>> Woody Williams

05 Matt Morris >>>>> 04 Matt Morris

05 Carpenter >>>>>> 04 Carpenter

05 Marquis >>>>> 04 Marquis.

But its cool, keep discounting them like you guys did last year, they thrive on it.

He would only consider the Yankees, but that was if they let him have the deal he has in Houston, where he only has to go to road games when he's pitching, and gets time off whenever his kids are playing.

Torre already said there's no way he could agree to special treatment like that.

So Clemens is staying in Houston. He will not waive his no-trade clause.

I still think the Red Soxs will win the AL East. Schilling should be back soon and they're going to need him. They're also going to need Foulke to pitch like he can because he has been gettin fucked up this year. (killin my fantasy team too in ERA, WHIP :|)

You were saying, TPark?

Boston is in first place, even though they have had Schilling out all year and have had a horrible Bullpen for almost the whole season. I look for them to make a trade to add some missing pieces just like last year when they added Cabrerra and Roberts who came up huge in playoffs.

So how exactly can he stink up the BoSox when he's not even pitching for them?

Especially since he's on rehab for nutting it up in the playoffs last season and pitching on that ankle.

Beltran wasn't on the cardinals, and if the red sox do face the cardinals again, it will be tougher.

Schilling will be in the Bullpen now that Foulke is on DL after knee surgery.

I look for Schilling to get better in the pen while Foulke gets healed up and by mid August, they will both be ready for the post season.

I also look for Theo Epstien to make some moves before the deadline to improve the rest of the Bullpen.

With Boston's lineup, they will be right there. I mean the have the top 2 RBI guys in the AL batting right next to each other.

Lol@nobeltran..

So who was beltran with last year? You need to know a little bit more of the MLB.

Beltran was an Astro last season, or atleast the second part of the season.

Beltran put up one hell of a postseason last year...damn i can't forget that shit. I wish he'd have resigned with Houston and not the mets

I agree, the road to the WS for the Cardinals should be much easier.....

But, Beltran didn't play for the Cardinals sir.

i was misunderstood... i meant it should be easier for the cards to defeat the astros since they have no beltran, he was the only person who was playing his heart out in the semis during games 1,2,3... but dont count houston out... they are looking strong for this season
