I haven't seen a release date yet... A friend of mine is going to get this phone, but is getting impatient. Do you have link to the release date?

And Sense 3.0 (or 3D) is the best GUI layer over Android as of now...
The problem with the sensation being that it is slightly underpowered compared to the Samsung Galaxy S II

The difference is that (according to the OP) the HTC sensation will be here next week. The samsung galaxy s II will be here whenever.

the galaxy S2 will blow everything out of the water including Apple's next Iphone. But it's true, we don't know when ATT and the other asshole networks will release it.

I'm hearing July, but who knows. I need a new phone too and I don't know if I'm gonna wait for it.

I'm considering getting the Motorola Atrix or the Samsung Infuse

yup I was about to buy that because it's unlocked. But then I found out the Atrix is 99$ at ATT. And it's got same CPU and RAM.

still the samsung screen is the best in the business

I hear the Atrix has all sorts of software issues, not just limited to Blur. You may wanna take it off the list unless they get resolved. Engadget doesn't recommend getting one at least, even at $99

yeah MotoBlur. and it's bootloader is locked so hard to disable unnecesary things.

is samsung any better at this?

I have heard that Touchwiz is better (not good, just better) and samsung doesn't lock bootloaders. In fact, they just gave free Galaxy S IIs to the Cyanogenmod team. THAT should tell you something.

just ordered the $700 Galaxy S2 from Amazon. :)

Will not ship until 2 weeks from now. I'll see how I feel about this in the next few days and cancel my order if I regret it.

Ask him if he's had any issues w\the screen. I am reading some are having trouble with the pressure tracking on the screen (wont pick up finger when trying to unlock, etc.)

My buddy said that he hasn't had any issue with touch sensitivity or the screen in general. He added that he is extremely pleased so far.
