If they have the playoffs next year, will it be a asterisks similar to 1999? If so, which team has the asterisks next to it?

was there a shorter season in 99 or something?

Yes. Like 30 games less. Phil Jackson declared it an asterisks due to not having a full season to prepare.

I never got the whole asterisk thing. So do we assign an asterisk to all the teams that won during the era of the 5 game 1st round playoffs ?

son lol at that joke of a "season" in 1999. it was basically a high school/tournament-style contest. most teams weren't even developed yet and many of them weren't even trying. the NBA should have just cancelled the entire season.

Though it was swell seeing your team play three nights in-a-row. I enjoyed the Hell outta that.

If the lakers win, no *. We will find an excuse to say it's a complete season even if it's less than 50 games

If it's any other team, *

Gotta love it here. Regular season doesn't matter, only the ring does. Oh but wait in the years the Spurs won the title the regular season is relevant to that somehow. 50 games is enough time mofos. Never mind that the Spurs took a fat shit on everyone in the playoffs that year and that particular title team is rated #8 all-time on ESPN.com (just saying). I guess everyone else wasn't trying and let us beat them :cry

And yeah I know it's trollbait but I don't get the reasoning. We all know the regular season is horseshit.

Regular season should be shortened to 50-60 games anyway tbh

If so does that mean you wouldn't want the Bulls to win?

Oh right, the blazers weren't trying that year and all it took was Sean
Ell1ot's "memorial day" miracle shot he had to shoot over the completely outstretched arm of prime Rasheed Wallace to win the game.

You're just piss full of envy as usual because your team in "nawleens" don't have any great moments like these, am I right?

Were the Spurs the only team that played 50 games? is not the Spurs fault the other stupid teams didn't want to win the ring and the trophy. The banner looks nice in the ATT center to bad some teams don't have one with or without *.

1999 is as legit a :lobt2: as any other year. All the teams played the same # of games in the regular season. The Spurs were just the best team that year. :toast

If your team won one for once that year you would be in glee! It would be legit as far as titles go :lmao:lmao. I don't care though they got three more after that to speak of :lobt2::lobt2:, the hate can't get outta you huh?

If they played 100 games that Spurs team wins it all, they were just better than anyone that year and it showed! They played the same games as anyone, swept most. 15-2 is no damn joke in the playoffs, 12 in a row.

All World Series should have an asterik. 162 games is too much fucking baseball.
