View Full Version : If the Heat win, what's worse, Kobe's 6-24 in game 7 or LeBron's 4th quarters?

If the Heat lose the series, I would have to say LeBron's 4th quarters are way worse. Had #6 stepped up in any of those games, the Heat would be in the driver's seat, or already champs.

Now, if the Heat win, LeBron needs to step up and win the games in both 4th quarters. That way he can steal the the finals MVP from Wade, and his team will have won in spite of him, just as the Lakers won in spite of Kobe's 6-24. Then they both have a finals MVP and it becomes a real argument who's performance was worse.

Easily Bron. For starters, Kobe didn't lose. 6-24 is god-awful, but scoring 11 points in Finals 4th quarters when you're the best player on the planet is epic failure

Kobe's 6-24. The Lakers won despite him that night. He choked away more FT's in one game than he had the entire playoffs. He was in full-choke mode, but was bailed out by the sheer ridiculousness of the Lakers overall talent.

At the very least, you can say Kobe tried. Watching lebron play out there in the 4th, you'd think he didn't give a shit.

Well neither would Lebron if the Heat win.

The Lakers won the championship despite Kobe. If the Heat win Lebron will have to perform well in the next two games, imo. In which case I would say that the Heat were put in this situation because of Lebron but in the end they also won because of Lebron. So the answer is Kobe's 6-24 game 7.

Well considering Kobe was going to win Finals MVP even if the Lakers lost that series I'd have to say Lebron's 4th quarters.

They were both horrible, but at least Kobe stepped it up in the 4th on rebounding and drew fouls instead of bricking shots.

Did you even watch that series before game 7? Every announcer, every commentator, every poll had Kobe winning it even if the Lakers lost. He had a great series other than game 7.

Kobe may have shot 6/24, but at least his effort was there and he doesn't shy away from taking over. Can't say the same for LBJ.

LeBron's disappearing act is definitely worse.

Kobe still won a ring, and 6-24 was one game. He was great in the rest of that series.

LeBron has been non-existent in the 4th quarter for this entire series, and if the Heat lose, he gets the blame.

If the Heat win, overcoming an entire series of missing 4th quarters from perhaps the best player on the planet would be a lot harder than the Lakers having to overcome one horrible game from Kobe.
