Lol I was about to post the same. Lots of subtle and not-so-subtle shots at Lebron and the heat.

Just wait for post-game quotes. Lots of stuff about people paying too much attention to Lebron and not to Dirk, etc.

It's not about the Heat tonite. It's about the Mavs.
Carlisle should know this without being told.

Rick basically said Mavs championship is a huge victory for the true fans of the game. They played how the game should be played without the circus and the fanfare Lebroze created.
LOL.

Lebron saying none of the critism bothers him over and over right now in presser... proves that it does.
Also said that people that criticize him will have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life and he will have his great life.

Dirk should wear a Lebron headband to the press conference and limp to the table.

LeBron was such a flowering Vagina the entire finals that Carlisle actually looks awesome by jabbing at LeBron.

Exaggerate much? I saw the post game presser and he was very humble. Even said Miami will have many many more runs at a championship.
Nothing to see here.

Heat will still probably win a title or 2. They just have too much talent..

If I could take Katie-girl, and my couch with me, I'd trade places with him right now.
Rick is just taking up for Dirk. I can respect that. Bron getting shitted on is a beautiful thing to watch. It's like watching Planet Earth on Bluray, on a 65 inch Samsung after you've had about 5 Jack 'n Cokes.

Dirk has already been out there. He's still in shock. He needs awhile for it to sink in.

You're a great man. Your loyalty to Katie-girl says a lot about you.

I met her after I threw a snowball at her and missed her by that||much. She was only 14. I took her home and my parents fell in love with her immediately. She was daughter my mother never had.

That quote right there, is why although great he aint MJ or even Kobe. he is happy to be rich and famous. I dont doubt he wants to win but as Dan G said there are no shortcuts. I was rooting for Lebron after Lakers were eliminated but not any longer. He is NOT what I thought he was ...

You may be right, but I honestly think this was their best chance considering they were already in the finals this year. The Mavs aren't exactly the best finals team over the past decade, usually there's some absolutely great teams that win the championship, especially in this era of basketball where realistically there's only a handful of teams that can truly say we can win a championship and teams like to load up all-stars.
I'm not taking anything away from this Mavs team, they played amazing, especially as a team. Couldn't be happier for Dirk, Kidd, Marion, and Jet even though I used to hate Jet. But if I'm the Heat, I look back and lost this series because guys like Barea, Marion, and Stevenson had great offensive series who on any given day I'd force those guys to beat me on the offensive end. Dallas also played good but not great defense considering they gave up countless dunks and layups, especially in the first 5 games... and they had no real interior defensive presence.
The problem with the Heat is Bosh is essentially a really good offensive role player on their team who shoots open shots like a role-player. Wade/James have the exact same playstyle and really need the ball to maximize their effectiveness.

Manu said before the season started that only one of them can have the ball in their hands so that's a good thing about them both being on the same team. Looks like he might have been onto something there.

Yep.
Dwyane and LBJ were about as unhappy as Nene was when they realized there was only one ball to play with.
