Sorry if this has already been posted, but what do you think will be the outcome of game 2?

I say Pistons 78 Spurs 74 not in a bias manner but because they are so well coached and motivated when they are down a game or 2.

Game 2 is gonna come down to whoever sinks the most 3s, since it's almost a given that Detroit's gonna jam up the middle. But still...

Spurs 95, Pistons 92

It's hard for me to see Detroit scoring more than 85 on the Spurs in any game. So if Detroit holds San Antonio down, they could win a game. Detroit's main problem is having only four scorers on the roster. If one of them isn't contributing, they are in big trouble.

My prediction....

Spurs win game 2
Pistons 3
Spurs 4
Spurs 5

word.

It seems weird but, anti-jynx's always work for me....every single time, they have never failed.

But doesnt acknowledging the anti-jinx fact mean that you are deliberately stating the spurs will get blown out therefore eliminating the jinx

You would think that, but not for me. I acknowledged the anti-jinx right before tip off last night....and it wasn't the 1st time I have....works for me....

I think the Pistons win Game 2, but the Spurs take 2 of 3 in Detroit in a somewhat shocking fashion, allowing the Spurs to close it out in Game 6 or 7.

So if Bowen isn't contributing in our offense [which he doesn't do much], we lose?

I don't think so

Game 2 is going to go to whichever team adjusts better from Game 1. Pistons are clearly going to counter the Spurs by involving Rasheed more throughout the game and giving him and Ben and Prince some more touches. They are obviously going to run some better screens so that Rip can free Bruce. Billups will do his thing in the 4th. They are obviously going to make it a priority to rebound better--which is where the Spurs must be careful, they can't let the Pistons get too many offensive rebounds. Also, I expect that they may have a plan that packs the lane more so that Manu and Parker can't get to the rim as easily.

Spurs will probably just come out and try to do what they did in game 1, minus the crappy start.

I think the Pistons may be able to steal this game actually...I don't want to make a prediction quite yet however :)

No predicting the score; all I can see coming is the Spurs walking into a chainsaw, and half the fans on this board (i.e. the lame ones) deciding it's time to blow up the team and rebuild.
