==========

They know how to stop emissions from coal plants, but it cuts into investors and mgmt incomes, so they externalize the life cycle costs to the environment.

Along with letting BigOil get away with making TX one of the most polluted states, this TX coal/methy mercury pollution is probably why Repugs want to secede from the union, or at least continue to violate EPA regs, all of which Bachmann wants nullified.

Four of the 7 in Texas (Martin Lake, Big Brown, Monticello, and Sandow #4) are owned by Energy Future Holdings (KKR, TPG, Goldman-Sachs). It's just about their entire energy generation portfolio...

They've already been sued several times for EPA violations, so obviously something needs to be done about hat company.

Another 4 overall (Limstone, WA Parish, Big Cajun 2, and Keystone) are operated by New Jersey based NRG.

Too lazy to look up the others.
