"Well, he's all right," Wallace said Friday. "In my opinion, he's a good ballplayer. Ain't nothing too special about the kid. You know, he's a good penetrator. But he's cool."

So Rasheed doesn't mind his that his defending champion teams' tail was kicked by an " average" player?

You gotta know Rasheed's personality. He said similar things about Dwyane Wade. "The kid is good" kind of things, without giving too much props.

Rasheed will give mad props to certain players, like Iverson, Jason Kidd, Kevin Garnett, and TIM DUNCAN.

But, as was mentioned, in the NBA FINALS, Rasheed is not going to give any mental advantage to a younger player like Manu. Rasheed and Piston fans know how special Manu is. He's amazing. Why should Rasheed or any of the Piston players let him know that's how they feel? Exactly, they shouldn't.

And, Rasheed doesn't care if people think he's nothing special either.

I love it when people ask and answer their own questions. :lol

Here's my take. I imagine that the most experience Rasheed had with the word 'special' was when he was in grade school and in conjuntion with the word 'education'.

Compared to a player like Duncan, Rasheed doesn't even rank as a good player. So ESPN and others propping him up like he is going to take a game into his own hands is like that reporter that kept saying Saddam was still in control.... Who was that guy anyway? LMAO.

Baghdad Bob. Funny a few people in here still think Manu is just alright too.

Nothing too special. He cool"

You know he's right in a way. Whatever Manu does isn't 'special' anymore. It's simply what he does every game and that makes him a special superstar. :elephant
