Who are you taking in their primes?

Why don't you go celebrate your well earned title and not care what Spurs fans have to say? I know you're not use to this feeling but enjoy for now since it wont last forever. There is not greater heartbreak then your team losing the title to another rival. Take it from us Spurs fans.

Mav trolls were better before their team won tbh.

This is like asking Jordan or Kobe. Kareem piggy-backed on the best PG ever (not to mention the best player ever prior to MJ) on some absolutely stacked teams as well as Big O in Milwaukee. Give Duncan Magic Johnson or Oscar Robertson and he's winning the title every year he's got one of them. Besides how are you gonna debate a second option versus a true number one option? Not to mention Kareem played no defense and has zero class, which is definitely the deal breaker. Class > all.

^ the goods. That would be insane, duncan + magic...get killed on the break, and if not, throw it in to timmeh in the halfcourt...nba would be fucked

Kareem, this isn't even a debate.

If I was starting a team I would either take Olajuwon or Duncan. That's it. Don't really care too much about Kareem even if he is better that either of those two, which I am not sure because he won most of his rings on stacked Lakers teams. The other ring was with Oscar. btw how was Kareem's defense?

Yea, defense is the key here. Offensively it is blatant: Kareem. But Duncan in his prime was arguably the greatest defensive big man not named Bill Russell.

Yeah it's such a stretch because the 2004 Spurs team didn't hold their opponents to a record low PPG or anything.

I'm not saying he is the best defensive big in his prime ever, but he's definitely near the top.

Kareem is usually ranked the #2 greatest of all time and Duncan isn't. Easy choice, tbqh.

Kareem wasn't even the best big man of his era. I'm sure if Chamberlain wasn't getting bukkaked by Russell and a team of HOFers or had a player the caliber of Magic Johnson in his prime or Big O he would've won more titles than just 1 when he was old.

Besides Kareem is a muslim and Timmy is a good ol' Christian boy, that alone should settle the debate

Unlike Kareem, Tim actually was the right response on Jeopardy.

pGGPE-Cc_lczuUJaCUMm10

Besides, Kareem's stats are inflated. Stat keepers give him credit for everything that Lew Alcindor did in Milwaukee. I don't know how they keep getting them confused. I guess they looked similar or something.

Finally, Tim's hair remains quite respectable even heading into the twilight years of his career, while Kareem's late career bald spot made Manu look like Grizzly Adams by comparison.

Tim FTW and it's not even close, motherfuckers.
