Did anyone notice how every play we didnt score yesterday resulted in a ball being slapped away, a steal, or a block?

When did Detroit Pistons set the record for best stealing team in the history of the NBA?

Or was it spurs rust?

Anyways, that shit reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally pissed me off during the game.

Thispego even buried his head into his hands and said 'its over'

These guys slap and smack our players arms and torsos every time they penetrate.

In the Eastern conference it is considered good defense, and that's the way the zebra's are going to call it.

I wouldnt call the win a blow out, just an ole fashioned texas ass kickin'

But anyways, ncalispurs has a point, they were hacking parker like no other

as long as they call it even both ways, it just seemed like detroit was getting a hand on the ball every time we penetrated except in the fourth

ok im bumping this thread to talk about how great the Detroit Pistons are at transcending all levels of steals and blocks.

They are without a doubt the best stealing/blocking team in nba history, no? Look at Ben Wallace's numbers after 8 minutes of game 3. He already had like 4 or 5 blocks!

Spurs better start handling the ball like its the finals and stop playing like tentative pussies!

Pistons picked up there game. After having their way with the Pistons for two games it's no wonder the Spurs had such a tough time picking things up. The Pistons got tougher on D, and the Spurs didn't help their case by throwing their passes will all the force of a Steve Kerr drive. Lazy passes + a defense that's awake = turnovers. If the Spurs take care of the ball in that last game I figure they probably could scored at least 8 points with the possessions they failed to get a shot off in, and likewise not have created at least 8 of the fast break points that the Pistons got.
