S'pose it really depends on your specific sense of humor what you consider to be "that" funny. In general, I tend to be more easily amused by talkers than jokers (if I'm understanding your meaning correctly).

It's interesting how someone just compared him to Sam Kinison, after listening to some of Kinison I came to the same conclusion. They did have some similar bits, but Kinison's insane yelling starts to detract from his overall performance and message.

Sam was great too, and his punchline yelling was his own thing, so i didn't have a problem with it...he was a funny cat no doubt. Hicks never really yelled unless he was tearing into a heckler though.
