i hope we re-sign him he can be quite useful but i think we'll sign elsewhere for big bucks. he'll get overpaid and it'll not be dem mavs, we've signed rudy fernandez who'll play just as fine in a 7th-man role, in a different style though

But he would be a much better pickup for the Lakers. They need to show him the money.

Barea is going to get overpaid by some team and it won't be the Lakers or Heat. They won't have the cap space to outbid us.

He's a useful player but I figure some team is going to give him crazy $$$ and promise him starter's minutes.
