Every news outlet out of Phoenix at the time said Ferry pulled JJ Hickson off the table, including the radio guys (Gambo & Ash) who basically have a deal with Sarver where he gives them all the insider info they want if they agree to defend him and toss his salad whenever he's brought up on their radio show.

Sorry senor, but Ferry shit the bed at the '09 and '10 trade deadline. At the '09 deadline he had a fat expiring in Wally Szczerbiak he did nothing with, and at the '10 deadline he wouldn't trade for Amare because JJ Hickson was the deal breaker. Then again, Ferry is probably smarter than whoever the fuck thinks Irving + Thompson is a better combo than Knight + Williams.

Sidenote, JJ Hickson not living up to his potential and being more or less a bust for the team that drafted him raises even more questions about Lance "dumb n!gger" Blanks' talent evaluating ability. Things just keep getting worse in Pho:lolnix.

LOL, I know it's hindsight, but the decision not to trade Hixon for Amare has to be one of the worst decisions in the history of the NBA. I bet if they had made that trade, they would have Lebron and Amare right now.

Now, to be fair, they had the best record in the NBA at the time and they were paranoid about fucking up team chemistry. But still. It was for fucking Amare Stoudemire. Those guys don't grow on trees.
