Manu is almost 100% he play in pre-olympic in argentina this august. Also about the lockout he said:
"La cosa está muy delicada. Estamos muy lejos de un arreglo con los dueños de la NBA. Ellos quieren cambiar las reglas. Dudo que vaya a haber un arreglo inmediato. Hay mucho por negociar"
"It's very delicate. We are very far from a deal with the owners. They want to change the rules. I doubt any deal anytime soon. Too much to negotiate."
good news is we'll be able to see manu play in august :D

This, Deron and others will show the owners that life goes on after the NBA. Players will not start dying if the lockout were to actually happen.

If Manu plays this summer I'm putting the over and under on games played next season at 50. Of course, if there is a season.

Well the way it's working there may not be a season so why not. Also recently he's also said that if the season hasn't started by January he may go and play in Europe.
man i hate this, what more does he need ? he has won everything with Argentina. he needs to take care of himself and let new players run the show in his country.
has he recovered from his broken arm?

Serious question for you ducks:
would you rather have an injured Tony Parker averaging 20 and 10 in the playoffs, or a healthy Tony Parker averaging 13 and 6 in the playoffs? Which one is more desirable?

serious question
what would you rather have a healthy big three or a hurt big three in the playoffs
manu has kissed pops ass so much he tells everyone that they can not do nothing without manu
if three pointers were falling tp would have done better
it was not his fault they missed open threes
they hit the threes he can drive and attack

I will only answer your question when you answer mine first.
Fuck it, I'll answer yours now: healthy big three. It's a shame though that the man with the broken arm was outplaying the entire team, even though he was guarded by some very strong perimeter defenders. What was Tony doing, I forget??? Oh that's right, he was getting cocked by an average at best point guard.
And you're totally right :lmao ...the reason Popovich loves Manu is because Manu kisses his ass everyday.

ummmm...yeah I don't think Manu gives a shit about anyone's opinion on this issue, he doesn't do this shit for the money. Basketball is his passion and he doesn't have very much time left doing what he loves to do competitively. You can't blame a guy like Manu for wanting to play for his national team that needs him to win anything, especially during an NBA lockout. He loves his country and is great friends with his Argentina teammates, not very hard to understand the situation.

Only 1 of Manu's playoff injuries can be related to him playing with is national team. Now tell him not to bumb Dirk's elbow or not to run against Grant Hill if you think that makes a difference.
He's playing for his national team, good for him.

Against a shitty one man team? Manu got robbed of finals MVP in 2005 against a great detroit pistons team.

Well, I don't think anyone held a gun to your head and forced you to buy NBA League Pass. And I don't think the NBA or Spurs personally give a single shit about your individual concern for Manu's health because apparently you won't watch if he isn't healthy.
But thanks for informing me that Manu will surely be injured in the beginning or through most of next season, if and when it happens. I wasn't aware it was fact.
By the way, didn't Manu go pretty deep in an international tournament during the summer of 2004? What happened the very next season? My memory is a little rusty.

not very hard to understand the situation.
It's also not very hard to understand why so many people get angry about him playing. He can't stay healthy.... simple as that.
Nobody is questioning Manu's motive or love for his country. We all know why he wants to play... It just sucks for the Spurs.... and were on a Spurs message board,..

I'm the first one to defend the players' right to play for their national teams.
However I take issue with your revisionist history: which team was Manu outplaying in Game 1? The All-Injured NBA 1st Team, maybe?
Second, 20.6ppg vs 19.7ppg, with worse shooting on Manu's side. And 17 turnovers in 5 games is the same as 20 in 6.
It doesn't take you much to raise one player to ultimate glory and put down the other in the mud. Truth be told, everybody sucked, and Parker didn't suck half as much as the Church of Manu (or the Church of Hill) would have us believe.

You aren't seriously suggesting that playing hurt was GOOD for his game, are you? Then what's your fucking point?
I've got an idea. How about any PG who isn't looking forward to summer ball in France, and has his head in the fucking game? Add that choice to your list, and see how many votes it gets.
fuck you
Why the fuck are you even here? You get what you want, watching Manu play for Argentina. Why come here to be a whiny bitch about it? Maybe you should spend some time kidnap-proofing your house or something? http://journals.worldnomads.com/safetyhub/story/72611/Argentina/Argentina-Crime

Manu is like a litmus test for the so-called talks. He knows there will be no NBA until 2012 or even then. Owners and workers live in different worlds. Holt could sell his piece of the Spurs and be 300 mil in profit. Cuban could care less if the Mavs lose $50 mil. Ditto Buss and MSG.
We need a price freeze on tickets!!!

I'm just a little tired of people thinking they can have an opinion of the U.S. and its residents, but we shouldn't do the same. It's people like you who act shocked when the tables are turned who are stupid. Obviously you Argentinians are a little butthurt, too.
:lol at the Argentinian "Spurs" fans.
Exactly. Mostly they are Argentina fans, who happen to know about the Spurs because we have a player from... Argentina. And their biggest concern is whether or not Manu will be playing for... Argentina. That's almost like being a fan, I guess.
Now that Yao has retired, do you think all those Chinese will still be voting for the All-Star Game? I guess Houston just lost about 200 million "fans" in one day.
