Kobe can throw down 360's, 720's, or whatever, none of it will matter since they have the worst bench in the league, well maybe slightly better since ShaKobe Brown took his talents elsewhere, AND Gasol performs like he did in the playoffs

Will you guys repeat or will you pull a San Antonio? We both know the answer to that. Don't tell me Houston is the only Texas team that knows how to repeat. :downspin:
But, until next June, props. I too was wrong about them Mavs. :toast

Baaad example. That was 16 years ago, Mavs will repeat as long as they keep Chandler.

Great example on my part. Houston won back to back (remember, true champions repeat). Spurs won 50+ games for 20 years and never repeated as champions. Mavs just rang and I have my doubts of them repeating. I find it strange that the Lakers beat them like a drum 110-82 in their last RS game, was up 16 in game 1 and loss - leading to a sweep. Plus, the Mavs will never shoot like they did in the clincher again. Team of destiny this year - no doubt - but won't make it an encore.
Oh and I'm not sweating Chandler. Not in the least.

Well, not bad for someone who just had surgery about a month ago. Just wait until he gets to strenghthen that knee and train. To my knowledge he couldn't do that the last couple of summers. Plus he didn't even practice much. That dunk was not 2001 Kobe, but it is not the gimpy Kobe that couldn't finish games for the Lakers in the 2011 playoffs. The Kobe we saw on that vid will be able to finish for the Lake show.

And on a side note, I want to express my utmost gratitude to the Laker fans that felt that we needed not one, not two, but three separate threads of this same exact video (and I haven't even checked in the All Kobe thread yet). :worthy:

LOL you know you're old if people are making topics about you still being able to dunk at a camp :lmao
You know your team lost if you are showing videos of summer camp as the "star" player's highlight.

Negative. 2011 playoff Kobe couldn't dunk like that. That dunk showed me more athleticism than when he punched on Emeka.

How is this spam? Was LBJ's thread about him dunking on a 12 year old kid at his camp spam too? Enlighten me, because you sure as hell didn't talk shit on the thread starter.

I'll bet he actually could, if it was during a warm up over a month after the last time his season was over. It wasn't an especially athletic dunk at all.

Are you being serious? A 270 (and that's being VERY generous) dunk with nobody defending him shows you more than a dunk in which he takes it straight into the face of a solid shot blocker, avoids him, and throws it down (in a critical point in a Playoff game, nonetheless)? :lol
TBH, I would have been more impressed if it didn't take Kobe multiple times to get his "360". Did anyone notice the kid give the throat slash after Kobe whiffed the first time - as if he was saying that this cat is washed up?

Maybe because its the third thread of this weak ass dunk. Kobe is done, there is no surgery to reverse age.

Gotcha. Off topic: you guys will regret trading Hill. Serious drop off in PG talent when TP sits (although most Spur fans say Hill is no PG). Hill has potential that won't be realized as a Spur. Cool with me. :toast

Also, I don't know where you been reading this miracle cure garbage about his German knee procedure (probably from the unbiased geniuses at lakersGround or ClubLakers), but most sources say the procedure is inferior to other techniques.
a number of recent studies disputes the effectiveness of the treatment. The New York Times cited a study by Dr. Leon Creaney in the British Journal of Sports Medicine in which patients treated with injections of whole blood for tennis elbow had better outcomes than those treated with PRP therapy after six months.

Pretty weak dunk but glad to see Kobe getting those hops back on -- the hops that he needed that deserted him vs Dallas.
Seriously? Jordan could do that right now, and he's like 62 years old.
James White shits all over that dunk in his sleep.

I've come to the conclusion Spurs fans are either A) incredibly stupid or B) in total denial/are front office apologists. You are right, losing Hill is huge.
