Don't have Freebirds or Habanero's in SoCal, but if you want to go with what we have and in similar fashion since Chipotle is more NorCal style Mexi fare:

Cafe Rio > Chipotle > Baja Fresh

This is completely true. Freebirds tastes extremely bland and their meat isn't fajita meat, their steak especially is marinated in fucking teriyaki sauce. Very caucasian tasting imo tbh. Never had Chipotle so I was wondering if it was worth it since Freebirds blows

Chipotle is overpriced burritos. Want guacamole? That's like 88 cents or something extra. Put beans on it, wrap it in aluminum foil and try to eat it like a Flavor-Ice pushup. Make a huge fucking mess (don't try in a car) with a drink about 12 dollars.

Instead, go get the chicken flameante at TC with the rice and beans and some chips y queso. Much better than a hyped up yuppie burrito.

I've eaten Chipotle now 33 times (12 in July, 12 in August, 9 so far in September) in the past 3 months, and have to eat at least twice more Chipotle before the end of September. Really getting tired of it. I get the chicken bowl and stuff it with fixings ($7.04 after tax) and make it last two days. For the free ones (5th, 9th and 12th bowl every month) I get carnitas + barbacoa + guacamole and they can't charge me, haha. Really cut down my food expenses in the past three months. But I'm getting SICK of Chipotle.

SA has a million better choices, but up here in DFW is pretty barren for Mexican food tbh. Nothing but mediocre chains like Chuy's and El Fenix along with the Chipotle's, Freebirds and Qdoba's.

also, if you ever come up to DFW... do NEVER go to a Fuzzy's, it's awful. It's basically expensive Taco Bell.
